OMG!! Talk about a book hangover. Or maybe it’s a Danny hangover, I’m not really sure. But either way I absolutely loved this book. It was sexy and fun and Danny will make you swoon. It is a second chance romance between two people who were completely head over heals in love with each other back in college. Danny and Reese loved and adored each other. They had a future together. But when Danny finally gets the call that he is waiting for things between them change. Danny is following his dream of being a model and traveling around the world. But as he is living his dream, Reese is afraid of losing her dreams of one day marrying Danny. One dream fulfilled causes a relationship to crumble.
It has been ten years since Danny and Reese have seen each other. but it doesn’t mean that they stopped thinking about each other, because they have. They have both tried to move on but it is not easy to move on from the only person that you have ever loved. Danny and Reese are reunited and will now be working together. All the feelings from ten years ago are still there, but there is also some hurt and anger to go with it. It doesn’t matter who walked away from who because they both loved each other so much that they were both equally hurt.
Danny is currently living the life and has made quite the big name for himself. He is one of the top models. Seeing Reese again though has brought back so many feelings. He has one regret in life and it was letting her get away. He lost her once and does not plan on losing her again. He wants her, he wants to know the woman that she has now become. The spark between them is still very much alive. While Reese still loves him and still wants him, being together is very risky. Reese can lose everything that she has worked so hard for. But is love and a second chance with the only person who has held your heart worth risking it all?
There are so many things that I loved about this book. The first is obviously Reese and Danny. They were just so amazing together. Danny was sexy and flirty and will make you swoon. Going in I wasn’t sure what to expect of him, being a huge model and all. But he wasn’t the guy I expected him to be, or maybe he was at one point but once Reese came back into his life she was everything he wanted. And Reese, I loved her. I think she fought hard to not fall for Danny again but the truth is how can you not fall for him. She was flirty and sassy at times but she was also a strong and independent woman. What I loved the most about them was their relationship and how real they were. The flirting between the two of them was just so adorably cute. Whether they were together or not, they still managed to keep that flirtatious way about them which I love. You could feel the love between them and their relationship was just perfect and one that anyone would want.
There was one person who added so much to this story and I loved him. And that is Vinnie. He is the designer that Danny has been hired to work for. First of all he had me laughing and smiling. But aside from that he was their biggest fan. He would do anything to get them back together. He wanted more than anyone, to see them together. He saw the spark and knew they belonged together. And he was such a wonderful person and proved what an amazing friend he truly was.
If you are looking for a fun, witty, second chance romance then this book is for you. Another amazing job by SL Scott.
EXCERPT:
As
if reading my mind, she says, “I want to have sex, and I want you to make me
forget about tonight. I want to be blissfully unaware of everything, except for
right now, here with you.”
I’m
already smirking. How can I not when I have temptation in its truest form
begging me to fuck her? It’s a hard job… like rock-hard, but I can handle it.
“Sit
up here.” I lift her up and place her on the counter. “I’ll be right back. Be
ready for me.”
After
turning off the water, I slip out and go for a condom from my suitcase. When I
return, she has her arms wrapped around her legs, giving me a peek of her sexy
pussy. “Open for me.”
She
spreads her legs and waits for further instruction. “Put your hands behind
you.” She does. After stroking myself while eyeing her incredible tits, I rip
open the package and put the condom on.
Her
back is curved, pushing them forward, and I run my hand over her sensitive

“No,”

Each

her back to the mirror. I build her up again, tightening the coil that I want

her as small circles increase in intensity and her moans are swallowed. When
she starts holding on to me, I lean back and our eyes meet again—passion,
addiction, obsession reside in the clarity of her deep blues and I don’t want
her just to physically feel how strongly I feel for her, but to see it. “I’ve
always loved you.”
The
back of her head hits the mirror, her eyes close, and her mouth opens. “Oh God,
Danny.” She shivers as the force of ecstasy takes over her body.
“Look
at me, baby.”
I
can see her struggle, but when her eyes open and meet mine, I don’t relent
until I see her body coming down.
Sitting upright, she kisses my neck and whispers, “I want you
inside me.”
