Review: Inked Ever After by Elle Aycart

4 star review

Tate has dreamed of her fairy tale wedding since she was a little girl.  And now that she has finally found her Prince Charming, her dreams are about to come true.  So why isn't Tate the happy bride who cannot wait to marry her prince?

Tate loves James Bowen with all her heart, he is everything to her.  She wants nothing more than to be his wife and spend the rest of her life with him.  So why is she quietly freaking out and having an emotional break down, when she should be happy and  planning the biggest day of her life?  Preparing for her wedding has brought up a lot of emotions for Tate.  She still feels the pain from the loss of her father and brother, and getting married without them just doesn't seem right.  The biggest issue that Tate has though, is that she keeps these emotions to herself.  She doesn't want to share any of this with James, our of fear of losing him.  She never thought she deserved the amazing man that she fell in love with.

James Bowen is still as sexy and amazing as was when we first met him in More Than Meets the Ink.  He loves Tate more than anything and she will always be his number one.  He wants to take care of her, support and comfort her and help take the pain away, if only she would let him.   James vows to get Tate to open up to him and let him in.  He wants to prove to her that he loves her and will always be there for her no matter what. Can Tate get past her insecurities and work through the pain and marry the man of her dreams?

I really enjoyed this book and think that it was a wonderful conclusion to their story.  James and Tate's relationship hasn't been an easy one, but they managed to get through their issues in the past and move forward.  What I loved about this story was that the obstacles that they were faced with this time were ones that most people go through and can relate to.  It was about communication and learning to let people in.
I fell in love with James in More than Meets the Ink and will admit that while I wasn't a big fan of Tates in the beginning  I have grown to love her. I loved watching her grow in this one and get past her issues and find the closure she needed.  I also loved watching James comfort her and support her, he is seriously a dream come true for any woman.  He is a sexy, dominant man with a heart of gold, who also has a sweet and sensitive side.    What is there not to love?  And let's not forget the sex scenes which can only be described in one word; HOT!!  Another job well done by Elle Aycart.  I cannot wait for the next one in the series.
