If it’s not broke don’t fix it. That was Cash’s motto in life, and his life was perfect. He was living the life of the lieutenant of The Last Riders, and had women at his beck and call. The only thing he saw himself settling down with in the future was a twelve pack; certainly not Rachel Porter, who was on his short no fuck list. Hell, she wasn’t even his type—her tits were too small, and her mean mouth could shrivel a man’s dick. How was he supposed to know she was special and worth putting up with those weed-producing hillbillies? Or was she?
Rachel had lived her whole life watching Cash break one woman’s heart after another. He was everything she shouldn’t want; a bad boy biker with enough sex appeal to make any woman want a night in his bed. Even her. Heck, he wasn’t even her type—he didn’t know when to keep his mouth shut, and he lived in a sex club. How was she supposed to know that he was special and worth putting up with the biker wars and biker bitches? Or was he?

5 Brass Knuckled stars!
Review by Natasha Gentile
Jeez Louise!!! Where do I start with this one? For one, let me say that Ms. Begley has me
wrapped around her little pink. She has me every single time. I have begged, I have pleaded, I have even
tried to tell her I’m crying; she does nothing except give me dates. Dates to
look forward to, dates that I count down to.
If you've been following Ms. Begley’s geniusism (I’m not even sure
that’s a word, but I’m going with it), you know that this book will knock your boots off.
So this book is about Cash. Oh Cash, you had me with Razer’s
Ride. This is what we know about Cash- he’s a lieutenant for The Last Rider’s
MC. He grew up in Treepoint, a small town in the south, his grandmother Mag
sold moonshine. (she’s also the funniest grandmother ever) He has a hate
relationship with the Porters, he’s not sure why, but they hate each other, he
loves sex, lots of it, oh and he’s super freaking hot..
His dark blond hair
was slightly curly and always ruffled, as if women were constantly running
their hands through it, which they probably were. His shoulders were broad, tapering down to a
muscular chest. Lean hipped, his jeans
constantly rode low, drawing attention to the considerable bulge that was hard
to miss. He was one of the most sexually
charismatic men.
I want to join that MC.
So while he beds half of Treepoint, he stays away from the one person on
his No Sex list, Rachel Porter, only bad news is she is madly in love with him,
in secret. This created a dilemma for him- once he got her, he couldn't
forget her, which doesn’t do well with his no strings attached mind set.
Cash stood, looking
down at Rachel, his throat tightening.
The young girl who had been in the background of his life for years was
gone. Now, in her place, was a beautiful
woman who stared at him with revulsion in her eyes. He had fallen off the pedestal she had placed
him on, and there was no redeeming himself in her eyes.
I have to say I liked Rachel Porter before this story, I
started liking her a whole lot more in Shade’s Fall, but in this book I fell in
love with her. Hook line and sinker.
She is not like all the others, She is the only sister to
the crazy pot growing Porter brothers, you know the ones that hate him and vice
versus, she is like super duper smart, she also not a "wham bam thank you ma’am
kind of girl", she’s also got a mouth on her and doesn’t shut up, oh, and she has
the most amazing gift ever. I’m not
going to tell you what it is, you just have to read it to understand it. At the end of this story I wanted to be
Rachel and not just because she has hot monkey sex with Cash, but well because
to me she’s awesome!!!
So I admit that Cash totally made me want to crawl into the
kindle and smack him, stomp on his foot, hit his kneecap oh and my favorite
kick him in the balls. He frustrated me
to the end of time, but isn’t that what the Last Rider’s do?
He also made me snort out laughing at his ridiculousness,
“You can’t get
pregnant if you f*ck in the water”
“You can’t get
pregnant unless you’re on your back”
“Don’t worry you wont
get pregnant I’ll use the rhythm method”
“Don’t worry you can’t
get pregnant standing up”
So this book gave me many different emotions,
hate, (yes, at times I hated Cash) sadness, joy, laughter, giddiness, acceptance
and love. Yes I said love, because at
the end of the day I fell in love with Cash.
Rachel on the other hand wasn’t that convinced. She made Cash work for it.
“I’m not a bad guy.”
“No, you’re not,”
Rachel agreed. “You’re just not the guy
for me.”
“How do you know if
you don’t give me a chance?”
“I don’t need to stick
my hand in a fire to know it’s gong to hurt like hell,” Rachel replied
mockingly.
Cash picked up a
tendril of her hair that had escaped her ponytail, pulling it taut.
“Sometimes, the best
way to fight fire is with fire.”
She shivered at the
warning in his voice. He was telling her
that he couldn’t forget them having sex any easier than she could. Her nipples tightened under her t-shirt while
she masked her reaction.
“And sometimes, the
best thing to do is just pour a bucket of water over it.”
Will Cash be able to fight for Rachel or will his fighting
be a waste of his time. Either way it’s
Cash’s Fight!
Now on a side note you all know that with every book there
is always something that Ms. Begley hides up her sleeve, she always always
leaves you saying, "what happens next?" And I have to say she left little hints
but nothing concrete with this one. It’s like she is planting seeds and that my friends, just
scares me more. It means that she's
getting ready to give us more Last Riders books, and I can’t wait for more.
