Blog Tour: Hot Ticket by Olivia Cunning

Three Chicks had the pleasure of sitting down with Jace and Aggie from Hot Ticket.

"Thank you so much for meeting with us and taking time out of your busy schedules." (Jen is jumping up and down in her seat mumbling, “Oh my goodness he is really good looking.”) (Kristie glares at Jen and Lisa starts to giggle) "Ok so um, shall we start?"

Three Chicks:  You both look great (Lisa and Jen look and nod in agreement) How are things going?

Jace: Can’t complain

Aggie: You never complain. Everything is great.

Three Chicks:  Jace, when Mistress V (Aggie) came onto the stage, what was going through your mind?

Jace: You mean the first time I saw her? I was hoping she wasn’t just putting on an act. With the expertise she showed with her whip, I soon figured out she was for real.

Three Chicks:  Aggie, how is your custom made corset business going?

Aggie: I can’t keep up with the demand.

Jace: It’s because you’re so talented.

Aggie: It’s because they know I’m with you and think they might catch a glimpse of the hottest guy in Sinners.

Jace: Hardly.

Three Chicks:  Aggie, when did you realize that Jace was punishing himself for something that had happened in his past?

Aggie: It wasn’t too hard to figure out. I’ve seen it before in other clients. I just never cared. Jace was different. I cared.

Jace: Please don’t get all sappy.

Three Chicks: Jace, you had a rough childhood and dealt with things by having pain inflicted onto you. Having faced those fears, do you still seek that type of release?

Jace: Aggie still gives me what I need, if that’s what you’re asking.

Aggie: He gets off on it. It’s not all about his past. It’s also about what gets his rocks off.

Jace: *blush*

Three Chicks:  Jace, a ton of shit went down during this tour; Trey still suffers from a head injury, Sed injured his throat, you’re injured, and then there is the accident. Do you think your latest record is cursed?

Jace: Coincidence. Eric is the one who thinks we’re cursed.

Aggie: He’s so superstitious. It’s hilarious.

Three Chicks:  Jace, you came face to face with your past and your fears. How are you feeling now that you are finally able to let things go?

Jace: I don’t have nightmares anymore.

Three Chicks:  Aggie, when did you realize that you were in love with Jace?

Aggie: In retrospect, I think it was the first time he defied me in the dungeon. Because he wasn’t playing a game. He meant it.

Three Chicks:  Jace, when did you realize that you were in love with Aggie?

Jace: Yesterday.

Aggie: Yesterday?

Jace: Joking.

Aggie: You can tell me later in private.

Jace: Okay.

Three Chicks:  Jace, what do you love about Mistress V? What do you love about Aggie?

Jace: There’s a difference?

Three Chicks:  Aggie, how is your mother doing?

Aggie: She’s pregnant.

Jace: What?

Aggie: Joking.

Jace: I think Eric is starting to wear off on you.

Three Chicks:  Jace, after having a heart to heart with Brian, how did you feel?

Jace: Sad.

Three Chicks:  Umm, does, ah, Eric still um, play with you two? Behind closed doors?

Jace: He loves Parcheesi.

Aggie: I don’t think that’s what she meant.

Jace: Oh.

Aggie: No. Eric needs to find someone for himself. Not sure what kind of woman will put up with him.

Jace: Someone as crazy as he is.

Three Chicks:  Have you set a date for the wedding?

Jace: Not yet.

Aggie: There’s no rush.

Three Chicks:  Jace, have you heard from Jon at all? How are things between the two of you?

Jace: He still tours with us, but Sed won’t let him on the bus.

Aggie: What a dick. Jon, not Sed.

Three Chicks:  Jace, we could all see how much the rest of the band members cared for you. Why weren’t you able to see it for yourself? Aggie could see how much they cared about you. You do know how insanely talented you are right?

Jace: *shrugs*

Aggie: God, he’s adorable.

Jace: Stop saying that.

Three Chicks:  Jace Seymour, bass guitarist for The Sinners, How does it make you feel to know that you are changing some kid’s life right now because YOU are HIS/HER musical inspiration? Just like your musical inspiration did for you years before. It is kind of mind blowing isn’t it?

Jace: No one wants to be a bassist.

Aggie: You wanted to be a bassist.

Jace: Only so I could be a part of them.

Aggie: What did you really want to play?

Jace: I dunno.

Aggie: Piano?

Jace: *shrugs*

Three Chicks:  Jace, the accident brought back horrible memories for you. Did it end up being therapeutic for you as well?

Jace: Dave.

Aggie: I don’t think he wants to talk about it.

Three Chicks:  Aggie, what was going through your mind watching Jace face his demons so to speak?

Aggie: It takes a strong man to face all that shit on his own.

Jace: I’m not alone anymore.

Three Chicks:  Jace, do you feel that you have closure with your parents?

Jace: *shrugs*

Aggie: Changing the subject.

Three Chicks:  How many little doms and rock stars would you like to have one day?

Aggie: Enough to drive my mom insane.

Jace: *laughs*

Three Chicks: Jace, did you ever see yourself settling down?

Jace: I wasn’t looking to settle down. It just happened.

Three Chicks:  Aggie, what is one life changing moment for you?

Aggie: Just one? The moment I decided I wasn’t going to let Jace get away.

Three Chicks:  Jace, there have been a ton of changing events happening with the Sinner’s (all positive we want to add). Where do you see the band heading? Where do you see yourself heading?

Jace: We’ll just keep putting out music we love and hoping it resonates with the fans. I hope to be with them until the end.

Three Chicks:  Aggie, do you still work at Paradise Found? What are you doing for work?

Aggie: No, but I do go visit my girls sometimes. I still freelance in the dungeon a little. Mostly I make corsets.

Three Chicks:  What song would you choose to describe where you are in life right now?

Aggie: Lost In You by Three Days Grace

Jace: Born to Be Wild by Steppenwolf

Aggie: Oh you. What am I going to do with you?

Jace: Love me forever.

Aggie: Okay.

Three Chicks and Their books would like to thank you again for talking with us today. We had a great time. It was such a pleasure to meet you both. Congratulations to the two of you. Jen blurts out “Jace! Can I please have your autograph?” We start laughing and Lisa says, “It was bound to happen, forgive us but we are a little star struck.”

Summary:

Book #3 in reading order of events in book series, per author

There are things in bassist Jace Seymour’s past that he is unwilling to share with anyone. To cover his guilt and anguish, he seeks dominatrix Mistress V (Aggie) to temporarily placate his inner turmoil.

Aggie doesn’t have much use for men–besides the power rush she gets when they’re begging for mercy at her feet–but Jace isn’t like her usual clients. His cool defiance and unexpected dominance in the bedroom drives her to distraction and quickly steals her heart.

When circumstances threaten Jace’s position in Sinners, Aggie must help him regain his rightful place in the band while showing him that time and love can heal all wounds

Our 4 star review:

4 Stars

In previous Sinners' books, we all know that their talented bassist, Jace Seymour, is the band’s quiet mystery. He is tormented by his past and he walks a fine line between pleasure and pain. Feeling like the odd man of the group, he often leaves to do what he needs to do to deal with his past. Let’s just say whips and canes have never been so intriguing. He hasn’t been able to find a woman who can stomach what he wants nor one that is strong enough to beat out his self-doubt.  Jace has only been able to depend on himself. Looking for the release he needs, he ends up at a strip club and meets Mistress V and she is everything he wants and didn’t realize he needed…..

“I just want you to hurt me. I don’t want to grovel or be humiliated.”

Mistress V is dominant in every aspect of her life. When Jace becomes her client, she struggles with her own emotions. For the first time, she is confused and finds herself wanting to submit to him. The more time they spend together the more she falls for him. She has never been able to let go of her domineering side until now…..

His unusual mix of strength and weakness drove her crazy.

Be prepared for an emotional, hot and sexy wild ride! This book is action packed with steamy sex, fights, accidents, and insights. Aggie helps Jace deal with his past and together they work toward their future. Together they discover the meaning of trust, understanding and love and what it takes to just let it go.

"Let go, Jace"  "I can't." He kissed the top of her head. "I can't let you go. Not ever."

Hot Ticket isn’t just hot, it is dark and sizzling! Olivia Cunning has once again rocked our world!
