HAPPY RELEASE DAY: ROCK WITH ME BY KRISTEN PROBY

Front Man Leo Nash from the world-famous rock band, Nash, is the last person on earth Samantha Williams would trust. She's already learned about loving a celebrity the hard way and isn't signing up for another lesson.
Every time Sam gives Leo attitude, he wants to knock that chip off her fragile little shoulder. What the hell did he ever do to her, anyway? He's not used to women treating him like he's poisonous, and he isn't about to let her run away every time he gets close. He's had enough of people running away to last him a lifetime...when this one runs, he gives chase. But, catching Sam isn't as hard as he thought.
The sexual attraction between them is so thick, Sam can practically hold it in her hand. There's no way she can deny herself the promise of pleasure being with Leo would provide. But, pleasure always comes with pain and when secrets are revealed and trust is challenged, who will run and who will chase?
4.5 star review

“Don’t ever lie to me, sunshine. I don’t ever want you to run until your legs give out on you like this again. The only time your legs will shake this is if I’m inside you.”

From the outside looking in, it would seem Samantha Williams has it all. A job she loves, money in the bank and loving family and friends. Did I mention that her brother is the famous actor/director Luke Williams? Having a famous brother has put a damper on her life as well as her trust. How does she know that they are genuine? Being used by an ex- boyfriend who also happened to be famous, she is at the, been there, done that and all I got was heartache and a stupid shirt point. She is guarded and refuses to be vulnerable again *insert brick walls around her heart and ice queen mentality here*her rule is to trust no-one and to never date anyone famous again. Being fiercely loyal to her family and friends, Sam leads a lonely life, that is until Leo catches her eye. *Insert the lickable hot Rock God here*

“Sam, I’m not about to leave you here at the side of the road by yourself to change a tire in the rain. Your brother would put his foot up my a$$.”

I systematically school my features, blank canvas, straighten my shoulders and put the walls back up. People can’t hurt me if I don’t let them. “You’re probably right.” I back away and move to walk around the white car to climb inside and escape. “I’ll be sure to tell him you were a big help. Thank you.”

Leo Nash didn’t have the easiest childhood. What kept him going was his love for music and his sister Meg. Leo is the lead singer of the band called Nash. He is your lip pierced, tattoo sporting, rock god. He is gorgeous and protective of those he loves. After being on tour for past five years he and his band mates need some time off. So he goes back home to Seattle to relax and work on songs for the groups next album. What he wasn’t expecting was the most beautiful, petite and stubborn women coming into his life.

“Why do you flinch when I touch you?” “Tell me. I enjoy touching you.”  She swallows and briefly frowns again. “I guess I’m just not used to it.”

Sam soon realizes that she has a lot in common with the famous rock star. She also discovers he is nothing she thought he would be.  Although their attraction for one another is off the freaking charts, Sam slowly opens up to him.

My heart rate picks up at the sight of a text from Leo and I have to remind myself that I don’t get to keep him.

He’s not mine.

It breaks Leo’s heart to see and hear how badly Sam was hurt. He realizes he will do anything for her. She is his sunshine after all.

“Baby,” He whispers and gently kisses me. “I’ve got you.”

They both can’t deny that the heart wants what the heart wants and that is each other. Both haunted by their pasts. One struggles with trust while the other struggles to feel worthy.  Will their insecurities bring them together or tear them apart?

“Samantha, I was a different man then.” He props his hands on his hips, just over his low-hanging jeans and boxers. “Meeting you, falling for you, has changed that. You’re mine.”

Kristen Proby has once again brought to life great characters in Leo and Sam. It was nice to see the gang as well. After all, their lives are all intertwined together. The chemistry between all of the characters are wonderful. I loved getting a glimpse of some of the new characters.

Seriously, who gets jealous of the chicks in the books for being surrounded by Hot and I mean some of the HOTTEST MEN in the book world *Finger pointing at me*

You know you have found a FANTABULOUS book when you are able to really feel and connect with the characters. Believe me, I felt it all! The lust, caution, fear, excitement, sadness, the angst but most of all I felt the love that all of the characters share.

Kristen Proby took me away (Oscar worthy), got me to fight (TKO), had me play (Super bowl baby) and now I had the chance to Rock (The Grammy goes to..). She has knocked my socks off with Rock with Me.

Magnificent! A job well done! A fun, SEXY read.
