Blog Tour: Forgiving Lies by Molly McAdams

Forgiving Lies Synopsis:
A matter of secrets...
Undercover cop Logan "Kash" Ryan can't afford a distraction like his new neighbor Rachel Masters, even if she's the most beautiful woman he's ever seen. To catch a serial killer, he needs to stay focused, yet all he can think about is the feisty, long-legged coed whose guarded nature intrigues him

A matter of lies...
Deceived and hurt before, Rachel would rather be a single, crazy cat lady than trust another guy, especially a gorgeous, tattooed bad boy with a Harley, like Kash. But when his liquid-steel eyes meet hers, it takes all of Rachel's will-power to stop herself from exploring his hot body with her own.

A matter of love...
As much as they try to keep it platonic, the friction between them sparks an irresistible heat that soon consumes them. Can Kash keep Rachel's heart and her life safe even as he risks his own? Will she be able to forgive his lies ... or will she run when she discovers the dangerous truth?

4.5 Star Review by Allison East

Rachel Masters is in college, and she is a great strong heroine! I love it. Sometimes it's hard to have a strong female voice in a NA novel. They all usually seem to have to be saved for some reason. But Rachel has a voice of her own.

Now I was getting mad. He didn't own me, he definitely wasn't my boyfriend, and this was Aaron. The same gay guy Blake didn't like 'looking at me'. "And since when do you get to decide who I hang out with? Look, maybe I've been giving you the wrong impression over the last few days, but we aren't together. You have no say in what I do."

She lives with her best friend, Candice. Rachel hasn't had the easiest last few years. Both of her parents passed away, and Candice and her family are really all she has left.
When Candice's cousin Blake, her childhood crush, moves to Texas- he wants to date her. Rachel doesn't want to go there; she can tell Blake is different. He is super obsessive though, and possessive with no real reason behind it. Except that she has finally grown up and he can be with her.

Logan "˜Kash" Ryan (Swoony McSwoon) is an undercover cop and a fantastic book boyfriend. He is a sexy guy with tattoos and a lip ring. He is super-hot- and seems like he has the bad boy persona. Come to find out, he is a softie and a genuinely good guy. I am so in love. It's the lip ring!

He and his best friend, who is also his partner, get into trouble at work (mostly Mason's doing...) and a hit has been placed on the both of them, so they go to Texas to work an undercover job. Kash doesn't do relationships, and really doesn't do them when he is on the job. But all that seems to change when he meets Rachel.
"Rachel, if we do this... I'm all in. I want all of you... need all of you."
"Good to know your favorite things about me Sour Patch, and if you're wondering, everything about you is my favorite."

It is not as heart-breaking as Taking Chances, but Forgiving Lies is still packed full of that crazy feeling you get in your gut after reading a Molly McAdams novel. This story has a few twists that you won't expect- although I did figure out a few of them out on my own though.  Molly is great with surprising readers and creating books that are brilliant. Though at the start the plot appears to be similar to a few other novels, but takes on another direction later, building a different storyline that's new.
And it's a humdinger of a cliffhanger- left me feeling breathless. I have to know the rest of the story!!! We have to wait and see- Deceiving Lies comes out March 4th of 2014.

Deceiving Lies Synopsis:
The irresistible, blazing-hot sequel to New York Times bestselling author Molly McAdams's Forgiving Lies.

Rachel is supposed to be planning her wedding to Kash, the love of her life. After the crazy year they've had, she's ready to settle down and live a completely normal life. Well, as normal as it can be. But there's something else waiting—something threatening to tear them apart.

Kash is ready for it all with Rach. Especially if all includes having a football team of babies with his future wife. With his line of work, he knows how short life can be, and doesn't want to waste another minute of theirs. But now his past as an undercover narcotics agent has come back to haunt him ... and it's the girl he loves who's caught in the middle.

Trent Cruz's orders are clear: take the girl. But there's something about this girl that has him changing the rules and playing a dangerous game to keep her safe. When his time as Rachel's protector runs out, he will turn his back on the only life he's known, and risk everything, if it means getting her out alive.

About Molly McAdams:
Molly McAdams grew up in California but now lives in the oh-so-amazing state of Texas with her husband and furry daughter. Her hobbies include hiking, snowboarding, traveling and long walks on the beach, which roughly translates to being a homebody with her hubby and dishing out movie quotes. When she's not at work, she can be found hiding out in her bedroom surrounded by her laptop, cell, Kindle and fighting over the TV remote. She has a weakness for crude-humored movies, fried pickles and loves curling up in a fluffy comforter during a thunderstorm...or under one in a bathtub if there are tornados. That way she can pretend they aren't really happening.
