Let me just start by saying that I am such a sucker for a HEA. But what I also love is when we get to see the continuation of a couples happily ever after. Sweet Possession is just that. This is a continuation of Dylan and Reese’s happily ever after. We get to see what happens beyond the ending of Sweet Addiction.
Reese Carroll was supposed to be nothing more than a wedding hook up for Dylan. They met, they had sex and it was supposed to end there. And now here she is planning her own wedding to her very own wedding hook up. Sweet Possession takes us on the journey with Dylan and Reese as they plan their wedding. We get to experience it all with them; the stress, the meddling mothers, the “I hope I fit into my dress” moments but what it is really about is watching two people who fell so deeply in love, prepare for the “Big” day.
Dylan still has her two sidekicks, Joey and Juls to help her prepare and to keep her calm. I absolutely loved this trio of friends. They are all so close and so connected to each other. They will do anything for each other and are always their for support. And Joey is just like one of the girls, which I loved.
Now lets talk about Reese Carroll. He’s a CPA and I don’t know about you but to me when I think of an Accountant I always thought of a boring, maybe a little nerdy, guy. But Reese Carroll is in no way any of those things. He is the sexiest, dirty talking Accountant that I have ever met. That man has a way with words that can make any woman week in the knees. And I loved every minute of his dirty talking. He is a sexy alpha male who loves Dylan and will do anything to protect her. And the sweet gestures continue that will just melt your heart.
Sweet Possession is funny, sexy and the perfect conclusion to Dylan and Reese’s story. There is a bit of drama but nothing too over the top. If you loved Sweet Addiction then you are going to love this one. I fell in love with Reese even more. I want my own Reese to sweep me off my feet and I also want two best friend like Joey and. While this is Reese and Dylans story we also get to see Joey and Juls. I laughed, I cried and in the end was left smiling. Loved it.
