What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas...
Or it changes your life forever.
He called me "wife."
This man standing naked in front of me. Tall. Dark. Sexy as sin...
He's my husband?
Disjointed images from the night before, the night I can’t entirely remember, float into my mind.
Meeting him in the bar. Sharing tidbits of our lives. I own a company that plans bachelor parties. He’s a pediatric heart surgeon.
We both live in Las Vegas, but we come from very different worlds.
And then I remember that kiss. The way his lips brushed against mine, gentle at first, then harder, deeper, with more urgency.
Sex in the elevator. Hot, forbidden, delicious.
I remember the way he made me feel. The way our bodies fit perfectly together.
But I don’t remember marrying him.
And now, he won’t let me go. Dr. Sexy who saves children for a living. He wants the summer to prove we are meant to be.
I can give him a summer.
But can I give him a lifetime?
*This is a contemporary romance novel with a happily ever after. It does NOT have a cliff-hanger ending.

He called me
"wife."
This man standing
naked in front of me. Tall. Dark. Sexy as sin...
He's my husband?
I’m so intrigued and so excited to
see what the heck this story is all about. Any book that starts like this
should be a fun ride.
When we first meet Kacie, she is at
a bar with her twin brother and best friend Vi.
She just wants to have a couple of drinks and relax. Little does she know the sexy stranger next
to her will be waking her up with the words, "Wife"!
Disjointed images
from the night before, the night I can’t entirely remember, float into my mind.
It's innocent enough-meeting someone in a bar and
sharing little things about themselves. She owns a company that plans bachelor
parties and get this- he’s a pediatric heart surgeon.
Sebastian hangs
up and turns to me. “Darling, I have to
go. One of my patients, a six-year-old
girl, went into cardiac arrest, and I have to scrub in for surgery.”
Oh. God. Fuck
me. This guy is too much. Sexy, delicious, and he saves kids for a
living?
I just can’t
even.
I’ve been to Vegas twice, never
have I been in a bar and met a super hot pediatric heart surgeon, who wakes me
up calling me wife. Ok it could be
the fact that I am already married, but still..
Imagine everyone’s surprise when
she finally comes home, wearing yesterday’s clothing, missing a shoe, but with
a wedding ring on her finger!
“What the actual
fuck?” Her eyes are wide. “You married him?”
“Apparently”
Tate pushes me
into the middle of the couch and sits next to me. “Honey, we need to have a talk about
sex. You don’t have to marry the guy
just because you fucked him”
Clearly drinking is not for her, or
if she is drinking she should be staying in by herself. So now she’s is slumped on her couch, not
really sure what to do next. I mean
she’s married. Married. Ummm WTF.
Imagine her surprise when the door
bell rings and the delivery man hands her a box. Hmmm...this is interesting.
While she is thinking of ways to
get out of this sticky situation, Sebastian, is getting ready to woo his
wife. While they may have started this stuff
totally backwards, he knows she is the one for him.
He wants her. Period. Today,
tomorrow, always.
Her- not so sure.
And then I
remember that kiss. The way his lips brushed against mine, gentle at first,
then harder, deeper, with more urgency.
So she sits down and thinks about
this. He’s a doctor, check, he is hot,
check, he likes kids, check and he can give her orgasms like no one else, point,
set, match. Did I mention the hot sex?
There’s more to a
guy then just his looks or cock size.
But come on, we can be honest with each other. The fact that he’s sculpted like Adonis isn’t
exactly a drawback, you know?
Umm they have had elevator
sex. I’ve been to Vegas and I have not
have elevator sex. I mean can you just
imagine the footage, those poor security people.
Kacie just wants this to go away,
but Sebastian has one request of his wife, spend the summer with him. He wants the summer to prove to her that this
thing between them, it real, and it’s forever.
She decides that she can give him a
summer. I mean two months of dating and hot sex, who can say no to that?
After she can just call this a great summer fling
and go on her way, right, or can she?
When all the cards are laid on the table, is Kacie ready to be unhitched
or is being hitched really what she wants?
