This is a very hard review to write because I honestly do not want to give anything away.  So I am going to make it short and to the point without giving away an spoilers.

At the end of Broken By Lies we were left with a mother of a cliffhanger.  There were so many questions and scenarios going through my head.  Did that really just happen to Alex?  And if so what now?  What will Emilia do, how will she handle it all and what will happen with Sam?  See, so many questions. Well I may not be giving you any info but I will tell you the Rebecca Shea has answered all of your questions. 

Emilia is left with a tough decision to make. She is going through her own hell and not sure which way to go at this point.  We know that her association with Alex has put her in danger.  We also know that both Sam and Alex have lied to her and now she has no idea who she can trust or what to do.  And the only thing that you can hope for her is that she will be able to get the happily ever she deserves.  But the question still remains as to who she will get her HEA with. 

I think that anyone who read the first book was left wondering where this story would go.  We all needed answers and we also needed closure.  Rebecca Shea did a wonderful job tying up all the loose ends and giving us the answers that we needed.  There was just the right amount of drama and suspense to keep you on the edge of your seat.  At times not even knowing where this story would go.  I really enjoyed watching these characters grow, especially Emilia.  I loved the suspense of it all and even the twists and turns along the way.  But for me personally I wanted more.  I think the ending felt a bit rushed and some things to me just felt off.  But overall I really enjoyed this series.  If you are looking for drama, suspense and romance then this is the series for you .
