Someone once told me when you cleaned out your closet it left room for new things to come into your life. 

I am a huge fan of Katy Evans' Manwhore series and loved Ladies Man. I wondered if Callen Carmichael would be getting his own book and Katy cleverly matched Tahoe Roth's  sister, Olivia with Callen. Tahoe scored an internship for her with Callen's company, Carma Inc. Callen might be easy going outside of the office, but he is a land shark when it comes to business. He's a multi-millionaire from taking over struggling companies and selling off the less profitable divisions and keeping the money makers for himself. Olivia is leaving her family in Texas and spending 3 months in New York working for Carma. She doesn't want Tahoe to ask Callen for anymore favors. She wants to learn all she can and take her new knowledge back to Texas with her. 

Callan Carmichael. I don't know him, even though he's apparently a close friend of my brother. When my brother moved to Chicago and I came to visit, he always told me to stay away from his friends. Now I'm old enough to work at one of their firms-Carma Inc. For the owner and CEO himself. 

Olivia might only be 22 but she has plans. And a blue print for those plans. She's going to work her ass off helping struggling companies turn themselves around. But first she has to learn how they get gobbled up by businesses like Carma so she can help them avoid that happening to them too. She has no time for romance, that's on hold until she's twenty-eight. Then she'll let Mr. Right in, by then she will have achieved what she wants to in business and she can focus on having a personal life then.

But on her first day at Carma she spies a gorgeous man up on the terrace smoking a cigarette. She's drawn to him and the two share a little conversation and some serious eye fucking. The best part of Olivia's day is on the terrace where she shares a few minutes with Hot Smoker Guy. Neither one of them knows who the other is-he thinks she's just another intern and she thinks he might work in the mail room. 

But of course ignorance may be bliss but it's short lived. Once they figure out who the other is, things change. Olivia is Callen's best friend's little sister. The one who is definitely off limits. Callen Carmichael is the womanizer that Olivia has heard about-the one who can't and won't commit.

So I slept with my boss. My boss's boss. Also my brother's friend. The guy who'd always been off-limits. The womanizer, everybody claims. I feel like puking. I almost wish I could puke already.  

There's an expiration date in place for their relationship. (Olivia is determined at the end of her internship she's going back to Texas, but I don't think her heart saw her well planned out blue print)  Callen-well he was quite the surprise. He seems to be more than a little obsessed with Olivia. Of the two of them, I'd say she is the one dragging her feet. 

"How many women have you slept with?" I ask.

"If you'd asked me two months ago, I'd say not enough."

"And now?"

"I don't know. It's starting to feel like enough from where I stand."

He might be the last man of their group still single, but I'm not sure how long that is going to last. 

"I don't know that I can love someone that deeply," he says. 

Most of her life Olivia's had a picture in her mind of where her life is going to go. If she lets Callen lead her down another path what does that mean for her? 

I had my whole life planned out, and Callen won't change his spots for a girl-there's a reason he's the last man standing. 

I simply adore the characters from this series-besides reading about Callan and Olivia's romance, getting glimpses of Rachel and Saint and their new addition, seeing Tahoe and Gina making long term plans for their future and getting a little insight into Wynn and Emmett's struggles to make it work-This series can't get any better. I'm just hoping Katy has no plans to stop writing about them! 

Love doesn't lie. Everything I've never known I wanted, I see in his eyes.
