Blog Tour: Sugar Kisses by Addison Moore

Title: Sugar Kisses
Series: 3:AM Kisses #3
Author: Addison Moore
Publication Date: February 11, 2014

Sugar Kisses—nothing tastes sweeter than revenge…

Roxy Capwell couldn’t be more miserable. She just had her heart stomped on by her cheating boyfriend, and the last thing she’s looking for is love. She hates men.

Cole Brighton couldn’t be happier. He’s a player of the highest order, there’s not a girl at Whitney Briggs University that he can’t tag and bag. He loves the ladies.

Roxy’s dream is to own and operate her own bakery one day, but with no oven in her dorm, and a lucrative baking competition on the horizon, she agrees to move in with her best friend’s brother, the obnoxious, womanizing, Cole Brighton.

Between the heavenly scent of baked goods, and Roxy’s perfect body strutting around the apartment, Cole can’t think straight. So when Roxy’s ex starts sniffing around again, Cole volunteers to play the part of her new boy-toy and things get heated both in and out of the kitchen.

Roxy discovers she might not hate every man on the planet, and Cole discovers nothing tastes better than Roxy and her late night SUGAR KISSES.

Roxy is ball of stress and anger.
Cole is all ego and sex.
Their attraction is unstoppable.
And when their bodies collide—it's combustible.

4 Fun and Flirty Stars

Review by Lisa Kane

This is the third book in the 3 AM: Kisses series; the first was 3AM: Kisses (Baya and Bryson’s story), book #2 was Winter Kisses (Laney and Ryder’s story) and this one is Roxie (Ryder’s sister) and Cole’s (Baya’s brother) story.

Roxie dreams of having a cup cake store, Sprinkles Cupcake, complete with mint green walls with pink and yellow dots scattered around. How will this fledging college student pay for it-by winning the Sticky Quickie baking competition, with the grand prize being $10,000! She knows she can do it and she is due for some good luck. Her boyfriend Aiden dumped her for a pop country sensation, Le Anne Cleo who just enrolled at Whitney Briggs. Her parents, who are rolling in dough (pardon the pun) are apathetic at best about Roxie and would never help her fund her dream. One problem-the dorm she has been living in has no baking facilities. So when Bryson moved in with Baya his roommate Cole had no problem letting Roxy take his place.

“You never know, you might find the man of your dreams and fall madly in love.” I snarl into the idea. I don’t believe in fun. I don’t believe in the man of my dreams, and for sure I don’t believe in that four-letter word-love. I glance up the fuck-em’ and leave ‘em scoreboard and surmise my new roommate feels the exact same way. Who knows, we might just get along better than I think.

To say Cole is a manwhore is to insult all the manwhores out there. This guy has nailed just about every girl on campus, two or three at a time. Ever since his dad died, he has gone off the rails and hasn’t quit been able to get himself back on track. Lately though, the fun of having sex with anyone that catches his eye is starting to wear off. It never bothered him before when his friends would tell him how bad his reputation was, but maybe being a player isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.

Cole is attracted to Roxie right away; she’s feisty, gorgeous, and full of spit and vinegar. She may be attracted to him, but she isn’t going to make the same mistake again and get involved with someone who will break her heart in two. But the more time they spend together the more Roxie feels herself and her girly parts caving in.

“You painted your toes.” His dimples flash in an out approvingly at my bright red polish. “Don’t look at my pigs.” I tuck my legs back and readjust myself into the couch. Cole bucks out an obnoxious laugh that makes me want to choke a litter of kittens. “What’s so funny?” “Nothing, it’s just that I hear that I’m a pig all the time.” “Oh, so you’re a pig, too? I suppose your next line will be ‘let’s go make some bacon.’”

Roxie has lots of complications with her crazy ass mother and Colt has a one night stand obsessed with him and convinced she is his happily ever after. Can these two find happiness and let go of the past?

In keeping with the rest of this series, I loved this book! I love how each character from the previous books interweave and progress within all the books. Their stories stay fresh and alive and I look forward to Whiskey Kisses, the next in the series.

Sugar Kisses (3:AM Kisses Book 3) Can be read as a stand alone!

Sugar Kisses Teasers:

Roxy’s POV
A quasi-familiar face pops up beside Bryson and flashes a million-watt smile at us.

“What’s going on?” The tall, dark, and handsome, buffed out, green-eyed sex God rumbles the words out. “Hey.” He holds out a hand, and his dimples dig in deep as he grins at me. “It’s about time I get to see my new roommate.” The red neon from the Black Bear sign catches his skin and lights up the left side of his face like a warning. His full lips demand my attention, and, for a moment, the rest of the room disappears, taking all the noise and dizzying hormones along with it—it’s only Cole and me standing in a vacuum. It feels safe this way, comfortable.
