Review: Unrequited by Melody Grace

You can be anyone for a night…

Alicia isn’t the kind of girl to kiss a total stranger up against the wall -- no matter how devastatingly sexy he is. But reeling from a broken heart, she runs straight into the arms of Dex Callahan: rock star, bad boy, and the most seductive man she’s ever known.

Dex is looking for distraction, at any price. The innocent redhead is just what he needs to keep his demons at bay -- but one taste of her sweetness isn’t enough. He needs to possess her, body and soul.

Two searching hearts. One night to discover the passion of a lifetime. Dex is determined to show Alicia the pleasure she’s been denied, but can she let go of her heartache and take a risk on the unknown?

4.5 Fantastic Stars!

Review by Allison East

I LOVE MELODY GRACE! I read Unbroken last year, and it was such a great book I kept reading the series. And the books just keep getting better and better. Melody has developed well written books, well thought out plot lines and a fantastic group of characters that grow over time and throughout the series. I think I will love The Callahans.  If they are all like Dex, "swoony mcswoon"- I will for sure love this part of the series.

This book is a novella; a hot, quick read. It was really only a taste to introduce Dex and Alicia.  And I am like a toddler when I  say, I want the next part- NOW!  This was a fantastic introduction to the next group of characters.  The writing was the Melody Grace style, which is awesome, I was a goner after the first few pages, loved it- and devoured it.

There were so many moments I loved, but these are just the tip of the iceberg. The ending is a bit of a cliffy, but I knew that going in- because the next book- Uninhibited will be the rest of the story.

Alicia and Dex are fantastic characters. I think Alicia will be good for Dex.  My thought though is that it insinuates she is in love with someone else, and we don't know who. I hope this doesn't cause any harm to the current situation she has put herself in with Dex.  And Dex, yowza, a tattooed, Rock God- hello, do you know who you are talking to?? I love the broken Rock Star!

This novella can be read as a standalone from the rest of the series , but it leaves off where Unconditional ends.
You will love this book and series. Just pick it up- and trust me when I say you won't be sorry!
