Synopsis: Don’t let my petite and innocent appearance fool you, because I’m one person you don’t want to cross. I’m Micah, the youngest member of Resurrection…If only they knew how young. My fake ID says I’m twenty-one.
And I will be…in four years. What can I say? I blossomed early. Home sucked, so I left, determined to do something with my life. Landing the gig as lead vocalist in the band was a dream come true. I’ve worked hard to make something of myself and nothing is going to ruin that for me. Then He showed up. He’s hot as hell and so into me. But he’s also twenty-five. I don’t want to lie to him, but if the truth comes out I’ll lose everything, including him.
About the Author: Missy lives in a small town in Central Victoria with her husband, and her confused pets (a dog who think she’s a cat, a cat who thinks he’s a dog…you get the picture).
When she’s not writing, she can usually be found looking for something to read.

As a web of deceit is revealed, will they be able to determine what’s real, and what’s worth fighting for? Or will they crumble under the weight of secrets that cut too deep?

Can Miller forgive himself and move beyond his fear of failing the one he loves?

Can Hadley accept the love she desperately wants but doesn’t believe she deserves?

Release Date May 27th

4 Star Review by Jennifer Hagen

Hadley has had a life of wrong.  Wrong doings from many people set into centripetal motion leading to a future that has Hadley not able to stand up for herself, scared to take a chance, and leery to trust anybody.  But most of all, it caused Hadley to give up her passion, dreams and success as a ballet dancer.

Hadley’s parents died when she was 8 years old.  Because no family was willing or able to take her in, she was placed in the foster care system and provided with a guardian who would make certain that Hadley was taken care of and would maintain her finances until certain stipulations were met.  This guardian is the epitome of a slime bucket.  He has taken advantage of a young girl all her life when she had nobody else to depend on and she had no reason to think he wasn’t doing his job.

Hadley works in graphic design.  Her job is located in the same building that Miller Genetti has his business.  For the past 3 years she has eyed him from afar, doing a daily web search on him, and dreaming of him being hers.  Little does she know that for the past year Miller has also had his eye on Hadley.

Miller is trying to right the wrongs he has done in the past.  He comes from an Italian family – a.k.a. La Famiglia, and his uncles prefer to do things “the family way.”  If you are thinking that Miller’s family is considered mafia by “the family way” anecdote, you are correct although Miller has nothing to do with those dealings.   Miller’s past haunts him and because of this he takes it upon himself to right that wrong by making certain that he can provide protection and safety to those close to him.  He will go to any lengths to make this happen, even if means his own self is put in harm’s way.  Miller spends some time away from home and it is during this time that letters are sent between Miller and Hadley and an otherwise unlikely relationship grows.

“Let me love you, Hadley.”

Hadley was present the night her parents died but feels that there is a void in her recollection of the events.   Even after 18 years this bothers her tremendously and she will not let it rest.  She wants answers in order to finally let it go and to consider herself free from the past that continues to haunt her.

In her quest to find answers, a missing piece of the puzzle is found.  This piece could either assist Hadley in filling in the blanks and help her move forward, or it could threaten her newly discovered ability to trust.  Has Miller’s love for Hadley broken down enough of her walls to allow Hadley to forgive? Just when Hadley comes to terms with this recent development, more truths, twists, and turns are thrown at her.  Hadley and Miller will need to have a strong relationship built when everything comes falling down around her and she needs somebody to hold her up and Miller will need to reassure her that he can be trusted.

“You’re it for me.  The one I spoke of in my letters, the one who completes me, who my soul aches for when we’re apart.”  Miller threw his hands in the air and looked up.  “The one woman in this entire world that I would die for, and I can’t f*cking convince her I love her.”

I have read Ms. Bell’s Irreparable series and thoroughly enjoyed them.  If you have read them and are under the impression that this book will be of the same writing style, you will be wrong.  The author has written this in third person and has expanded her focus on content that may not be suitable for all readers.  There are scenes graphic in nature both sexual and violent along with sex trafficking being implied.

“Miss, are you coming?” Miller asked.
Hadley dragged her gaze from his neatly pressed trousers, stopping at his rugged and handsome face. Miller’s come-hither smile suggested he could make all of her fantasies come true. Not that she would ask him to.
She sought out the jagged scar that started in the middle of his chin and disappeared under his sharp jaw. It intrigued her. She had a similar one on her right cheek, faded and usually covered with foundation. His, thicker and more prominent, reflected a whisper of imperfection on an otherwise perfect male specimen. Only the stubble that typically shadowed his chin, hinted it bothered him. Hadley often wondered how he got it, but dared not ask. In truth, Hadley dared not speak to him, period.
“Miss,” Miller repeated, “are you coming?”
 Am I coming?
Of course, Miller meant into the elevator with him, but Hadley interpreted it with an alternate meaning. His question rang out literally—the way Hadley dreamt about the previous night, Miller making her come until she begged him to make love to her. Her trembling thighs had woken her from the tantalizing dream.

Release Day Blitz: Autumn and Summer by Danielle Allen

~ Synopsis ~

Is it better to have loved and lost or to have never loved at all?

Sexy, successful and stylish, Autumn Jones believes in love. She believes in the all-consuming, mind blowing enormity of love. She believes in the euphoric state of loving and being loved. She believes in it because she’s had it once. And when it was lost, she was devastated, but she never stopped believing in the existence of love. Unwilling to settle, she learned from the past and moved on with the expectation that she’ll love again.

Beautiful, talented, and slightly jaded, Summer Wilson believes in sex. She believes in the all-consuming, mind blowing enormity of good sex. She believes that love exists, but Prince Charming does not. At least not for her. She’s seen the downside of love—insanity, heartbreak, infidelity, divorce—and she dates with the expectation that she won’t ever subject herself to that type of vulnerability. Instead, she chooses to love her family, her friends, and her work. And although she enjoys the company of men, her heart is hers and hers alone.

Best friends since elementary school, Autumn and Summer kick off the summer by embarking on a dating experiment. Unfortunately, expecting the unexpected doesn’t prepare them for what the dating world has in store.

  ~ Author Bio ~

Life is good!

I am a married event planner and life coach. My awesome friends and family and my amazing husband make my life sweet. I love to have fun and enjoy the life I’ve been blessed with. I love shopping and football with equal fervor. I’m an amateur movie critic (i.e. my husband and I watch and critique a lot of movies for fun). I love to read and I enjoy sharing my love of books with anyone who will listen. I love music. A good lyric with a good melody can paint a vivid picture and invoke such a range of emotions. I have a soft spot for most mediums of creative, artistic expression.
With degrees in psychology, human services, and marriage and family counseling, I have a unique perspective on life, love and the pursuit of happiness. As an author, I combine an active imagination and life experiences to create stories that are easily relatable and intentionally intriguing. I want to offer you a peek into someone else’s life and for you to get lost in their story, their trials, their triumphs. My ultimate goal is to create a character or a story that stays with you long after you’ve put the book down.
So in a nutshell: I plan. I teach. I read. I write. I watch. I critique. I shop. I play. I love.
To know me is to love me.

XOXO
