Here’s a tip: never trust a jackass in preppy clothing.
So there I was, on a stage with two other men, being asked ridiculous questions by a woman I couldn’t see, but whose voice made my pants tighten—and not around my ankles.
Before I knew what was happening, I'd signed up for six weeks in paradise, isolated on an island for forty-two days with a complete stranger. And when I finally laid eyes on the sexy brunette who belonged to that voice, a part of me thought this wouldn’t be so bad.
I’ve always been a levelheaded guy. I am a successful, smart, and shrewd business man. But that was when I was listening to the head above my shoulders. Once the blood traveled south, I always ran into trouble.
She called me Mr. Wrong, and that was fine with me.
Lesson learned: lust always trumps logic.

I loved this book. It's funny and sexy and has a great storyline. Two people duped into entering a contest by their friends who hope like hell they don't win.
Brae Daniels' friends think she would do great in the Flame Dating Service's contest. Six weeks on a tropical island with the bachelor of her choice. And a cash prize-a half a million dollars! She could finally make a real contribution to her parents debt for the family farm.
Jude Soren on the other hand, doesn't even know his friend Kyle has set him up to compete to be one of the three bachelors that Brae will be choosing from-and of course it turns out he's one of guys who are in the competition!
Brae gets to ask questions of the three bachelors, but they are kept offstage where she can't see them. Bachelors #1 and #2 give nice acceptable answers while Jude, #3 says whatever is on his mind.
"Do you men play any instruments?"
Number one said, "Guitar." Hmmm, sexy. Number two said, "no." Number three said, with pride, "Clitoris."
Yeah, she ended up picking number three and that folks is how these two met.
Brae may need the money, but Jude is the owner of an extremely lucrative investment firm. Kyle, (the jackass) and Jude's best friend, Luca help run the firm. He's never been so pissed at winning before. Now he will have virtually no communication about his business for the next six weeks. So he may not have the best attitude going into this experiment.
"All kidding aside, Jude, she's hot as fuck. It's a no-brainer."
Yes, she was. When I first saw her in that tight-fitting black dress, toned legs, sexy curves, and the long, silky sable hair, I envisioned wrapping those locks around my fist. My visual wasn't making this any easier, but that was beside the point. I thrust a finger at him, and said, "I'm still going to hurt you when I get back."
And so Brae and Jude's big adventure begins! The island is the gorgeous the two of them have chemistry out the wazoo and the peace and quiet are relaxing. So what more could you want?
The closer these two get to each other, the more in danger this contest becomes of becoming real. Jude is not looking for that one special person to spend his life with and Brae just needs to help out her parents. But Jude is a man and we all know men will screw up at some point!
"I started this thing determined to find Mr. Wrong, and how apropos that I succeeded."
Oh boy, cue the Tums. I was ready to turn in my Love Me Some Jude ticket, but then I thought, not so fast. Every dog has his day, let's just see how it all plays out.
"You can pretend to be studying that file, but I'm on to you, Soren."
"Really? What exactly are you on to, Benedetto?"
"That you're not the same man who left here almost two months ago. I watched you these past few days, and you can't fool me."
Will Jude get his head out of his arse? Will Brae forgive and forget? Or at least forgive? He is gorgeous, rich and smart....
Our connection, both physical and emotional, may have started with a tiny spark, but has since transformed into a raging inferno.
