I really enjoyed The Sex Bucket List. For me it was fun, sweet and sexy with the
right amount of drama. But what I loved
about it was that the drama was not unnecessary drama, it was the real to life
issues that Emerson dealt with. She was
a heroine that I think a lot of women her age can relate too, whether they are
married or divorced.
Emerson is still trying to move on from her divorce and the
mistakes that were made. Her children
are also having a hard time with it as well but now is the time for Emerson to
do something for herself for a change. A
while back her and her two best friends made a sex bucket list one night while
she was drunk. And now is as good as a
time as any to start checking things off of that list. And she has the perfect man in mind to do
that with.
Mateo is about ten years younger than Emerson. so that
knocks off one of the items on her list.
But he has secretly wanted her sin e the day he met her. He knew what she was going through and waited
until it was the right time to make his move.
When he accidentally stumbles upon her list he knows that he is the
perfect person to work through that list with her. He wants her and not just in a physical way. He wants to be with her and does not care
that she comes with an ex husband and three kids who may not be too happy with
them dating. But when it comes to
Emerson he is all in. He just hopes that
she feels the same way.
I really enjoyed this book and the characters in it as
well. Mateo is sweet and sexy and I
loved him. I loved that he cared for
Emerson and wanted her regardless of her baggage. He wanted to make her happy and just love
her, and of course help her with her list as well.
Emerson is someone that I think a lot of women can relate
too. Even woman who are still married
and at times feel like you aren’t as sexy as you once were or your husband
doesn’t look at you like hi did when you first started dating. She is a woman who takes care of everyone
else and for once needs to focus on her.
I loved the moment where she went out and shopped for sexy lingerie, got
her self all prettied up and just did something that made her feel really good
about herself. I think that is something
that every woman needs no matter what their love life is like.
What I loved about this story was the real life issues that
Emerson and Mateo dealt with. The three
kids, the ex husband who decides now is the time to want her back. Three kids who aren’t happy about their
mother dating. Any drama in this book
was real. It had the perfect balance of
fun, sweet and sexy.

Our kiss is hard and rough, and it has my legs clenching together. His hands go to my ass, pulling my dress up slightly, lifting me up onto the edge of my desk, grinding against me. Wearing a wrap dress today was a good call. I usually wear wrap dresses because they are no fuss, add a nice cinch to my waist, and feel like pajamas. Easy access wasn’t one of the reasons, but I’m thankful for it now.Wrestling with his shirt, I yank it out of his pants, desperate to feel his skin under my fingertips. His tongue finds my neck, and he kisses a path along my collarbone. I thrust against every hard inch of him. He pulls on the tie of my dress, and I wrap my legs around his waist. Picking me up, he pushes me up against the floor-to-ceiling window.
I can’t remember the last time a guy banged me up against a wall, or a window, for that matter. This is a perk of being with a younger man. Am I really going to do this? In my office? In the middle of the day? He must feel my hesitation because he lowers my legs to the ground, flipping me towards the window, his hard dick pushing up against my ass, his warm breath tickling my neck.
He whispers in my ear, “Number 19. Orgasm in a public place. I’m saying this counts.” I look down the few stories to the busy Atlanta street, the neighboring building. Roughly, he forces my legs apart with his foot then reaches his hand between my legs and pushes my panties to the side. “Your list belongs to me,” he says, his voice hard.
