So before I start this review I have to say that I was very scared to read this book. Well let's just say Ms. Torre loves to mind f#*k us. She loves to throw in things that we don’t even know or think will happen. Let's just say that I would be afraid to live in her brain. It’s scary in there…
Here is my journey into Black Lies.
So the end of the prologue hits you with this,

I seriously groaned…I mean you know whatever is coming is nothing you can even start to comprehend. My brain hurt I was so scared..And I had every single reason to be afraid.
Meet Layana Fairmont:
The plan was simple. Earn a respectable degree while being molded into the perfect wife. Marry Quickly. Support my husband while pursing my other interests, such as charity work and running my home.
Simple -right! I mean at 25 years old she got her trust fund. Twelve million cool smackaronnies and it's all hers. So you would think now that she has her money all to herself, finding a husband should be a walk in the park. Sadly no. She wants to have chemistry with her husband and she wants love.
