Our 4 Star Review
Don’t you just love a book that can keep a smile on your
face? Jillian Grayson is a successful romance novelist who happens to be the
mother of an almost college graduate and is a divorcee. She is in a writing funk
and is having a hard time with her male character being the hunky sex god she
needs him to be instead he ends up being... well let’s just say the Viagra
commercial has more appeal.
Brian Nash is the tennis obsessed best friend and roommate of
Rob Grayson. He also has the worst luck when it comes to women and
relationships. When Rob invites Brian to go home with him for spring break the
last thing he expects is to find out how attractive Rob’s mother is. When Jillian meets
Brian, she is shocked at how attracted she is to him but also about how much
they have in common with each other.
Things get interesting one night while the two of
them are alone and under the influence. Together they come up with the “friends
with partial benefits rule” *insert smirk here*.
This book had me laughing out loud and Jillian’s best friend
Victoria, is freaking HILARIOUS. She is the epitome of the modern day
cougar.
This book has it all, a little bit of sadness, a ton of
humor. It is filled with longing, passion and romance. Did I mention that there
are a few “peeping tom” incidents that will crack you up!
What do you get with a frustrated woman who finds herself
attracted to a younger man? Nothing but hilarious complications.
A job well done Luke Young!
