Blake left her hometown in sunny Florida to start over new. Now living in Ocean City New Jersey Blake is in college for advertising, and has plans to move to New York when she is finished with school. Blake and her roommate Dean share an apartment above Frankie’s Tavern, where they both tend bar. Dean is her rock and one of the only people who knows about her past and why she keeps everyone at a distance.  He tries to get her to open up to people more, have a little fun, but Blake’s past still haunts her and she is set on protecting herself by all means necessary, even if that means coming off as a bitch to everyone she meets. Everything changes for Blake when she meets not one but two men that bring forth feelings in her she didn’t know she could feel.

Derrick James, tall dark and sexy, he walked into the bar and Blake couldn’t take her eyes off of him. He’s rich and sweet and intent on sweeping Blake off her feet. He grew up with a difficult childhood and fought really hard to make something of himself. Blake is drawn to him and opens up to him like she has with no one else.

“If this is what heaven feels like, then I’ve been living a life in hell.” 
Landon is gorgeous, charismatic and a ladies man.  Blake is drawn to his care fee ways and although she is falling for Derrick, can’t seem to get Landon off her mind. Landon is used to getting what he wants and what he wants is Blake. Boyfriend or not he is intent on making her his. What he doesn’t know is that her boyfriend is his best friend, and things just got really complicated!

“A small part of me wants to care that she has a boyfriend, but that’s only because I have some morals. For the most part – I don’t care. I want nothing more than to make her mine”


Luck Of Love is really good story with a great love triangle! I found myself truly liking both Derrick and Landon and kept changing my mind on who Blake should pick!  I wasn’t expecting the suspenseful ending at all! The cliffhanger is a killer and I will be waiting on pins and needles waiting for the next installment, Luck and Faith!
