Blog Tour: Intoxicated by Monica Murphy

About INTOXICATED:

New York Times bestselling author Monica Murphy wraps up her sexy Billionaire Bachelors Club series with a wedding to remember. But this time, they’re not bachelors anymore, and the groom … is one of them.

It’s Gage and Marina’s wedding day, but wedded bliss seems a long way off: Ivy’s just gone into labor. Marina’s missing her matron of honor. And Bryn’s giving Matt the silent treatment.

It’s up to Archer, Gage, and Matt to make sure this day goes off without a hitch. But between brides and babies, there’s the not-so-little issue of the million-dollar bet to attend to. If only they can figure out who won … and who’s paying up. Is everyone a winner? Or will someone leave broke—and brokenhearted?

3.5 Star Review by Jen Skewes

Intoxicated is a follow up novella to the Billionaire Bachelors Club series.  If you have not read the first three books in this series the please make sure that you do before reading this.  The Billionaire Bachelors Club series is about Archer, Gage, and Matt and the women who managed to tame them.  They are three sexy billionaire bachelors who are also best friends.  They met a bet to see who would get married first.  The last man standing wins.  The losers each having to pay $1 million to the winner.

Intoxicated follows the happily ever after of Archer, Ivy, Gage, Marina, Matt and Bryn. There is a wedding, the birth of a baby and a lover's quarrel and we finally see if the winner of the bet will finally get his winnings.  This is a short and quick read so I do not want to go into to much detail about the story.  But I loved that we were able to catch up on the important moments in their lives.  We get to see Gage and Marina make their love official and Archer become a daddy which I loved.  This is told in alternating point of views from all six characters which I thought Monica Murphy did a fantastic hob with.  It flowed nicely and you were able to keep up with all of the event as they were happening from each couple's point of view.  loved seeing how much these men were still in love with their women and how after marriage and even birth they just loved them that much more.

For anyone who has read this series, Intoxicated is a really sweet and fun follow up to their story.  I always love see beyond the characters happily ever after.  And that is exactly what Ms. Murphy gave us.  A great ending to a wonderful series.

  1. Why do you think stories of Billionaire Men are so appealing to readers? I personally like the fantasy and the idea of money not being an issue ... you can be decadent, do anything which leaves a lot of opportunity within the story.
