Lies. Heartbreak. Betrayal. No one knew the devastation of those three words more than Faith Winston and five years ago, she endured every one of them. All she wanted was to feel safe and marry the very man who promised to love her and protect her, Ryker Knight. But growing up in the Nordic Lords Motorcycle Club, she should have known she couldn’t have a happy ending. Instead, her world became a nightmare. The bikers—her family—abandoned her, leaving her to crash without their safety net. Ryker Knight has spent the last five years consumed with guilt, running from the ghosts that haunt him. That is until his past catches up with him the moment his brother needs his help. Returning home to Jasper Bay, he’s forced to face the same ghosts he was running from. Only to find that the woman he loved is trapped in a hell of her own, entrenched behind enemy lines —and it’s all his fault. And even though Ryker’s life comes with priorities that he can’t – and won’t - turn his back on, he refuses to leave Jasper Bay until he’s found Faith. But will she want to return to the life she’s always wanted even if Ryker is no longer capable of giving her what he once promised?

4 Star Review by Jen Skewes

When we first met Ryker and Faith in Point of No Return we knew there was a history between them.  We also knew that five years apart wasn;t enough time to let the love they had for each other go.  We needed answers,  We needed to know what happened between the two of them.  Why did Ryker run away and how did Faith become a part of the rival MC Black Death.   Point of Redemption answers all of your questions.  This is Ryker and Faith’s second chance at love.

Ever since Faith lost her father and Ryeker left her, her life has been completely turned upside down.  She is a slave to her mother’s addiction.  Everything that she has gone through, the pain and hurt that she has endured, and even the way she is living her life has everything to do with her mother’s addiction.  She no longer has choices in her life.  Those were taken away from her five years ago.  She can choose to run, to defy those who control her but doing these things has conseuquences.  And no matter how shitty of o mother she is Faith is not sure that she would be able to handle the consequences.  She knows that she is stuck in this life that her mother has put her in and right now there is no escape.

Ryker was so in love with Faith five years ago.  He had planned their future together.  He grew up in the MC world with his father being president of the Nordic Lords.  But five years ago due to a misunderstanding, Ryker left town with his heart in a million pieces.  He has never wanted to come back but his brother needs him. The minute he sees Faith and finds out what has happened to her since he left, his blood starts to boil with rage.  But at the same time his guilt also takes over.  He hadn’t left would Faith be where she is now.  Ryker still loves Faith, there is no doubt.  And he knows that he needs to stay to help her escape the horrible world she is currently in.  But Ryker has other responsibilities at home that he cannot just ignore.  He made a promise to a friend and Ryker intends to keep that promise.  But seeing Faith brings back so many memories of their love together.  He wants her and doesn’t want to let her go ever again.  But saving Faith and making her his, means breaking a promise that he has always intended to keep.  Will Ryker give in to the love that he has for Faith and do everything he can to be with her?

I really enjoyed this story.  It was raw, gritty, intense and at times I think a little on the dark side.  For the last five years seeing what Faith has gone through just hurt my heart and at the same time disgusted me.  Especially knowing that it was all a result of her drug addicted mother.  Faith was one hell of a strong heroine.  I cannot begin to explain the pain and the horror that her life has been.  But she has maintained her strength in so many ways.  She tends to bounce right back.  Maybe in ways she has just become numb to it all.  I loved Ryker and loved seeing how much he loved and cared for Faith.  Ryker carried so much guilt with him, for his father’s death, his friends’ death and now Faith.  And now that he is back he will do everything in his power to save Faith.

There was a lot of action, intense drama, suspense and a few twist and turns along the way. Another fantastic job by Stacey Lynn.  Cannot wait for the next one in the series.
