Synopsis

This is Book 2 in the Steel Souls series.
The series DOES need to be read in order!

When Sadie Foster’s world collided with Ramsey Dalton, she never expected to find herself in the middle of a vicious war between two motorcycle clubs. Caught in a web of secrets and lies, Sadie begins to question everything about herself, and her life.

Ramsey is struggling to keep it together. With the conflict between the Steel Souls and The White Wolves coming to a head, Sadie’s life isn’t the only one at risk. Pulled in all directions, Ramsey is torn between his feelings for Sadie, and his ability to keep everyone he cares about safe from harm.

Uncovering a new reality at every turn, Ramsey and Sadie are pushed to their very limits and forced to evaluate everything they know to be true. But things are not always as they seem. And knowing who to trust can mean the difference between life and death.

There’s no denying the chemistry between them, and it seems their paths were always destined to cross. But is their connection strong enough to withstand the storm?
Because the reality is, there’s no war without passion, and no love without loss…

4.5 Stars
Review by Jen Skewes

I could not wait for this one.  I needed to know how this one would end.  There were people that I was unsure of, people that I loved and needed to know they would be ok.  Nikki Groom did not disappoint.

Fire in the Stars picks up exactly where the first book left off..  Sadie and Ruck are missing and JJ has just told Ramsey something that completely shocked him.  While they decide to put the shocking news on the back burner for now, their main focus right now is finding Sadie and Ruck, hoping that they are not too late.

While this is Sadie and Ramsey’s story I think there is so much more to this story than that.  It deals with the issues that the MC is facing right now.  A reunion between father and daughter, friendships forming between the girls, all wrapped around a love story between two people who have tragic pasts tht have left the broken.

I loved Sadie and Ramsey together.  He is tough as nails, controlling and can be a complete alpha male.  But when it comes to his girl there are times when he just makes you melt with his kindness, probably because he becomes putty in Sadie’s hands.  They were cute together with their flirty banter but my god they were so sexy together.  I loved everything about them.

Sadie is a bad ass chick who I loved.  She has always been independent and while she may now be someone’s old lady, she has no intention of losing herself and becoming someone that she is not.

Nikki Groom did an amazing job with this sequel. She had me on the edge of my seat wondering what would happen next.  There were people who I was not sure I could trust, and had my theories and suspicions.  Ms. Groom shocked us with twists and turns that I did not see coming.  There was drama and angst, moments that were dark and raw and moments that will both hurt your heart and melt it.  I loved this series and hope that this is not the end of this series.
