Trash, toilet paper and a few smokers huddled together for warmth decorate the front lawn. A loud bass line thumps from inside and Sawyer’s head is bobbing to the music like a dashboard doll as we make our way up the walk to the frat house. Neither one of us are a Sig, but I’m thinking nobody tells Sawyer he can’t join the party, so I figure I’m golden. All I want to do tonight is forget; erase from my mind all that is my new school, my forfeited jersey and my blonde no more. Ally Brody knew that Cole Thomas was going to break her heart but she foolishly fell in love with him anyway. Now she was left in love with a man she is afraid to trust. Trying to put distance between them deems to be impossible when Cole refuses to leave her side. She finds herself wavering and decides to give them one more chance despite her fears. Ally is still uncomfortable with Cole’s secret, as well as learning to deal with how rich and famous he is, but she knows she will have to live with it because of her love for him.

She knew whatever he wanted she would never say no to. She couldn’t. He was under her skin and in her head. She was his. There was no question of that.

Cole Thomas knew he made a very big mistake by lying to Ally, the love of his life. Now that he has her back he will do everything in his power to show her how much she is loved and cherished. Cole wants Ally forever by his side and will do anything to keep her there but life keeps throwing them hurdles and he is worried they won’t ever get their happily ever after.

Cole and Ally are happy, in love and planning for their future. Ally gets some news that makes her realize her whole childhood was based on lies and she is crushed. At the same time Cole also receives devastating news and they lean on each other and try to move forward together towards their future. But if that isn’t enough Ally has to make a decision that will change their lives forever. She is terrified of losing Cole and she is not sure if their love can survive this, after all how many chances can true love have?

When we left of at the cliffhanger in No Second Chances Ally had left Cole after learning his secret. At the start of How Many Chances Cole is desperate to find Ally and show his love and apologize. I really love Cole Bloody Thomas. He is sweet and tough all in the same sexy package. I really do feel that both him and Ally were put through the ringer, they didn’t get a break! Poor Ally, as strong as she was mostly cried through the whole book! (Within good reason of course) The ending was sweet and it looks like there will be a third book. I can’t wait to see what is in store for Cole and Ally’s future.
