Judy Garland said it best, ‘For it was not into my ear you whispered but into my heart. It was not my lips you kissed but my soul.’
If you asked her why she loved him, she would only be able to tell you it was because he was who he was and well, she was who she was.
Plain and simple.
All her life Lennox Ward felt incomplete. That her heart was always searching for that one special thing; that special someone she had yet to find.
Then Caleb Kingston came strolling back into her life unexpectedly, and little did she know her world was about to come crashing down around her; forever shattering it.
Is love enough to conquer all?
Will she be able to lead them out of hell and off their path of self destruction?
Or will Caleb take it all?

4 Star Review by Jen Hagen
Imagine yourself coming face to face with your childhood
love…somebody that held your heart for over 10 years. Imagine that he was feeling the same exact
way you are. Would you give up
everything you ever believed in to feel his love? Would you be willing to sacrifice the person
you are to be his? Would you be able to
keep a blind eye to the demon that is calling to him? Think back to when you were 20 years old…you
were young, immature, and willing to do anything for love because you wanted to
feel it so bad. Now go ahead and read
Take It All while keeping all this in mind.
Lennox is 20 years old and has recently found her
childhood best friend and the boy who continues to hold her heart 10 years
later. Caleb appears to have it all
together…friends, a job, a nice apartment.
But there’s something he’s hiding from Lennox, something so big that it will
tear them apart unless she is willing to accept him and love him for what he
is.
…there were things
Lennox didn’t know about him, things he hadn’t fully thought about when he met
her for coffee, and then asked her out. He had completely forgotten who he was
when he saw her and nothing else mattered at that moment.
Life is good for Lennox. She’s got the love of her life
by her side and what more could she ask for.
She has a happy home life and a bright future on the horizon. She’s feeling and seeing things as never
before. All because of Caleb.
Her soul felt
alive, shining brightly through her for the world to see. Her world became more
vibrant; it was as if she was seeing every object, every person, every color–
everything in the entire world for the first time and it was beautiful, it was
breathtaking.
After a while things aren’t so colorful and vibrant in
Lennox’s life. And this, too, is all because
of Caleb. Caleb is taking her places
that she said she would never go. She
can’t leave him, she loves him too much.
Everything now
seemed different, not with her and Caleb, but the world in general; it seemed
more dark and unknown to her now.
Things go from bad to worse with Caleb. Lennox finds herself in more than one
uncomfortable situation because of Caleb.
Caleb’s web of lies continues to grow.
He not only lies to his friends and family, but also to Lennox. There’s nobody that can save him, not even
Lennox’s love is strong enough to pull him through.
“I feel like it’s
my fault, that I just sat by as you did everything when I should have been
trying to save you. You said I gave you hope, a saving grace, and I let you and
everyone else down.”
Lennox has also met a very nice young man, Raine. Raine initially asked her out but shortly
thereafter was placed in the “friend zone.”
Raine has become a very close to friend to Lennox, and Lennox has had to
call upon him on more than one occasion for help and for a shoulder to cry on.
Raine is always there for her, dropping everything at the sound of her frantic
voice. And now she needs him more than
ever…
“Raine, I need
you.”
This book is not a stand alone and if you are an
impatient person when it comes to cliffhangers/sequels, I suggest you wait
until the next book is available as this ends on a cliffhanger that will leave
you throwing your Kindle.
