Release Blitz: Force of Nature by SLScott

FORCE OF NATURE IS LIVE!

READ FOR FREE ON KINDLE UNLIMITED

"This book is for true lovers of romance! A unique, strong, feisty heroine. And the hero! Gah! He's an alpha hero that you will fall head-over-heels for.”
~Adriana Locke, USA Today and Washington Post
Synopsis

Winter Nobleman is complicated. To say the least.

It was supposed to be simple. Go to Paris, find a client’s daughter, and close a multi-million-dollar deal. Easy. Then I meet her. Stormy blue eyes, quick wit, and the secrets she keeps on the tip of her tongue make me forget my mission for a moment, or six, and why I’m in Paris in the first place—to bring her home.

Distracted by her beauty, I fail to notice the others lurking with missions of their own.

Bennett Everest is the twist I never saw coming. Talk about perfect timing.

He steals my breath the first time I see him and breathes hope back into my heart. He’s a giant in my eyes, a king among men with patience and love to share in spades. Six foot three. Whiskey-colored eyes. Solid gold on the inside.

Despite the dirty deeds of my past, he sees the person I am meant to be and not the person I have become.

If the lies don’t kill us, will the truth set us free?

“Absolutely Best Romantic Suspense of 2019!” - Lulu, FB/GR
“Bennett is so so sexy and romantic. He’s THE best book boyfriend.” -Barbara, Goodreads
“With stellar writing and the kind of plot that you instantly connect with, Force of Nature was everything I love in a story and more.” -LitlJen, Goodreads

Review by Trinette Dungee

Faith has always been there to help Connor tame his Billionaire Bad Boy ways. Now it’s time for Connor to be there for Faith.
Connor and Faith have been best friends for years each has always felt just a little more than friendship for the other but has never acted on it. She’s been there for him most of his life and she’s never asked for anything in return. When Faith finds herself in a rough spot, Connor is determined to be the one to rescue her.
I love a “friends to lovers” story and I liked this one. There were times when I felt like the momentum wasn’t  consistent but what I really liked about this story was the characters. I thought the chemistry between Connor and Faith was great. They come from totally different worlds but these two just clicked! I really liked how the book started off with the backstory on how they met and the moments in time the were key in their relationship.
I’m a banter girl so what I really loved was the banter between them. I even loved the banter between Connor and his older brother Drew. However, I was not a fan of Drew. I read the first book in this series which was Drew’s story quite a while ago but I think I had a problem liking him then too. In the end of both stories he turned out to be a good guy but his methods left a lot to be desired.
Short, quick easy book that was a fun read.
If you have a day at the beach coming up this summer, this is the book for you.

Release Blitz: Advice From a Jilted Bride by Piper Ryan

What’s a girl to do after being ditched at the altar by text message? That’s right. Text. Message.

How does she pick up the pieces and move on? I’m no Dear Abby but here’s a little free advice…

Advice #1 – First, purge your apartment of all things him—by tossing his belongings off the balcony.

Advice #2 – Do not, I repeat do not, throw anything out into the hallway because you’ll injure your hot new neighbor.

Advice #3 – When said neighbor brings over Chinese Food do not let him stay and keep you company. It’s awkward when you realize he’s your boss.

Advice #4 – Accept his offer to help you with your side business but think twice before using a date to his sister’s wedding as collateral.

Advice #5 – Investigate who your mystery neighbor really is. Don’t trust his word even if he’s the world’s best kisser.

If you listen to nothing else, pay attention to that last one. It’s the most important and will save you a lot of heartache.

Xo,

Review by Jen Skewes

I am absolutely loving this series.  This is book 2 in the Bailey series and it was jut as fantastic as the first one.  This is Brooklyn Bailey's story and starts off at her wedding or should I say wedding that wasn't.  Her fiancé has left her on their wedding day, leaving her to no only clean up the mess and tell all of their guests but she is also left heart broken and angry.  I mean he did tell her in a text message that  it was over, I would be fuming too.  So the question in the blurb is what do you do when you are dit he'd on your wedding day?  Get rid of all of his things, rid your apartment of anything that has to do with him and become friends and spend time with your new hot neighbor, who also happens to be your boss.  But Brooklyn doesn't know that yet.

Wyatt is new to Lake Starlight and will be taking over the hotel that Brooklyn works at.  They meet in a bit of a funny way and there is this immediate connection.  But I wouldn't say it was insta love.  Yes they were attracted to each other but she's still trying to get over her ex and he has a secret that he's sure will only make Brooklyn never want to see him again. But neither one can deny the chemistry between them and it is only a matter of time before they are together.  But being together can only lead to more heartache.  Will it be worth the risk?

I loved this book. It is not an insta love kind of story.  It is a slow burn between two people are are most definitely attracted to each other.  But Wyatt knows that she is not ready to cross that line and he's not sure that he wants to either for fear of hurting her.  Despite who he is and why he is there Wyatt is caring, kind, sweet and sexy.  Everything that you will love in a. book boyfriend.  He truly cares for Brooklyn and yay can see that in how he takes care of her.

Brooklyn is a sweetheart who I think tries to find the good in people.  I loved seeing her get mad when her ex left her and even more so a little later on.  She may be sweet but she knows how to be strong and fight for herself.  Her and Wyatt were just so cute together and perfect.  they were meant to be, between the banter back and forth, they way they both opened up to each other, the sweet and gentle moments and the sexy ones.  These two were perfect.

I love this series and cannot wait for more.  What I love is that this may be Brooklyn's book but we still get to see the entire Bailey clan.  They are a tight knit family who looks out for each other and we continue to see that is this book.  I cannot wait for the next one.

The Reality of Wright and Wrong by Leddy Harper

Title: The Reality of Wright and Wrong
Author: Leddy Harper
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: March 15, 2019

Blurb

“Save me
and have me, fix me and I’m yours.”

What do you
do when you catch your fiancé grinding on another woman? Well, if you’re me,
you run off with a sexy, ink-covered tattoo artist who goes by the name Wrong.

Then you
marry him after a week.

This isn’t
a story of love at first sight—love didn’t come into play until after I had
ruined it all. It’s the reality of what is right and what is wrong when it
comes to soulmates.

5 stars
Review by Jen Skewes

I have read just about all of Leddy Harper's books and I have loved each one of them for different reasons.  The Reality of Wright and Wrong may just be my new fave of hers.  For one, I LOVE Brogan and two I devoured this book in one day which lately has been rare for me.  This book hit so many emotions.  There was angst and some drama and two characters that I loved from the moment they met.  And the story line was different.

Mercy was so excited to surprise her fiancé by coming to town a day early. But she was the one that the surprise of her lifetime.  With a broken heart, a sway in her step, due to too many drinks, she finds herself outside of bar with no place to go.  Then she hears his voice.  A voice that is not familiar to her at all but affected her in so many ways.   Yes Brogan Daniels c an do that to women.  He offered her a ride a place to stay.  And as stupid and unsafe as it sounds she took the stranger up on his offer.

Brogan Daniels, AKA Wrong knew from the moment he saw Mercy that there was something about her.  She was it for him even if he could not understand why.   Mercy had a week until her flight back home and that week was spent with Brogan.  At the end of the week he asked her to marry him and she said yes.  Her plan to go home and pack up completely blew up in her face.  She had a best friend, her parents, the truth behind who her husband really is and an ex-fiance to deal with.  Mercy was unsure of a lot of things when it came to her life but one thing she knew was that walking away from Brogan would not be easy not was it something she wanted to do.  She would go back to him and they would make it work.  But finding out who he really is, seeing his past, and knowing what could lie ahead scared her.  Mercy and Brogan may have been married but can someone really fall in love in a few weeks?  Were they together for the wrong reasons?  Would they be able to get past their own fears, but most of all was there such a thing as fate?

I loved this book so much.  I loved Brogan, a hot, sweet, sexy tattooed hero who you will fall in love with from the moment you meet him.  Mercy was at times a little harder to love but that is just because of her being a little wishy washy at times.  But I understood it and her reasons for hesitating. But then when you Brogan Daniels is yours, don't question it....lol.

From the moment that they met you just felt the chemistry.  I can say it was love at first sight, or maybe lust.  But I honestly have to say that it never felt like that.  It felt to me like they have known each other for years, that they truly were soul mates and meant to be.  The banter between them, the chemistry, they sexiness.  Every part of them being together made sense.  Time was never a fact for me.  And that is what I loved.  That you felt how connected they were and their love and connection just felt so real and so right.  Reality of Wright and Wrong has the right amount of drama, a sexy hero, a love story that is different and was perfectly written.  Loved it!!

Excerpt

Brogan had
intentionally given me a glimpse into himself by expressing his feelings in
words he’d never shared with another living soul. But in that moment, when his
eyes met mine, he offered me something else.
Likely
unaware he’d even done so.
He gave me
a piece of his vulnerability. His pain. A sliver of the hidden humiliation that
he kept buried beneath a painted canvas. Covered in graffiti. Locked behind
years of loss and doubt. It crossed his brow in shallow valleys of hesitation
and colored his cheeks in raw insecurity.
He was
open. Closed off. Pushing me away while desperately trying to hold me close.
It was too
much to process at once, leaving me immobile, grounded in place. The only thing
I could do was open my mouth and give him honesty. “Your words…they make my
chest hurt. As I read them, I breathed them in, and they burrowed themselves
next to my heart. Took up residence within my lungs. They’re powerful enough to
keep me safe, yet just as capable of destroying me.”
“Mercy…”
“They make
my eyes burn. Every vowel, every period. Every syllable you wrote and verse you
formed did something to me that I’ve never experienced. I’ve never read
something so beautiful, something that literally brought tears to my eyes.”
“Mercy,
that’s enough.” Beneath the stern tone and harsh shell lay a boy who couldn’t
accept my praise. “I didn’t do it for compliments. You said you didn’t know me,
so I’m showing you who I am. You think I’m using you to kill time until Jessica
comes back, and I’m trying to prove to you that I’m not. I don’t need your
approval. I need you.”
Under his
intense scrutiny, I became fully aware of my state of undress.
“I’m, uh…
I’m going to put on some pants.” I took a few steps backward, holding my shirt
down in the front.
“Hey,
Mercy? Could you do me a favor?”
I stopped
and held his stare.
“Next time
you hang out with your ex, can you tell him that if he ever contacts me again,
he’ll wish he’d never learned how to type? Thanks.”
“He did
what? He texted you?”
He went
right back to browning the meat, continuing as if he hadn’t just dropped a bomb
at my feet. “Email, but yeah. Same thing. I think he got off on telling me that
I’m runner-up. I guess you told him that you’re waiting to see if he lied about
where he was that night? And if he was telling the truth, you plan to get our
marriage annulled?”
“He twisted
what I said.”
“Then I
guess it’s a good thing I didn’t give a shit what he had to say.” He moved the
pan off the burner. “Although, I don’t think he liked it too much when I told
him I hoped he enjoyed the taste of my cum, because I fucked your pussy so hard
and so deep it’ll be a while before it’s all out.”
I was
shocked. And mortified. And incredibly turned on by his possessiveness.
“Did you
really?”
His smile
became visible in his eyes first, but half a second later, it was drawn across
his face.

“You can’t
get rid of me that easily.” Connor struggled to keep his tone light. He had no
idea what had gotten into Faith… unless her plans were code for a date with a
new boyfriend.  Something she had every
right to pursue, especially given that he hadn’t made a move on her.
Ever.
Their
relationship meant too much to him. Faith
was too precious to potentially lose, even if it meant he suffered in the
meantime. However, that didn’t mean he liked the fact that she was looking for
something he couldn’t possibly give her, not even with the billions he owned.
“I’m not
trying to get rid of you, Mr.—”
“Connor. I
think we’re past formalities, don’t you?” he said, peeved that she’d treat him
differently because of his last name.
She leaned
forward, her hair like a dark waterfall pooling on the top of the counter
between them. “I’m at work and I have work to do.”
“I don’t
care.” He slashed his hand through the air. “You’re using my last name to put a
wall between us.”
“Here,
there is a wall between us,” she said, her tone insistent. Her brows crashed
together as she lowered her voice, “What’s gotten into you?”
He avoided
meeting her gaze. “Are you dating someone?” He all but growled the question
like an animal. He knew the day would come that she’d find someone to replace
him, but it felt like a knife in the back.
“I have
plans to go on a date.” She crossed her arms over her chest. “You should do the
same thing. Heck, I’ll help you find someone. Okay?”
No, it
wasn’t okay because he’d already fucking found his perfect match and she stood
in front of him.  “Pass.”
She sighed
thickly. “You’re being unreasonable.”
“I’m being
honest,” he snapped.
“You’re
being a jerk and that’s not like you.”
“Maybe I’ve
changed.”
“In the last
ten minutes?” She shook her head. “I don’t think so.”
He both
loved and hated how well she knew him. “I have to go.” He stalked away, tossing
over his shoulder, “Best of luck on your date, Ms. Holt.”
“Don’t you
walk away from me, Connor Aiden Montgomery ,” she called after him.
He stopped,
slowing turning, bracing for the impact of this woman who truly didn’t give a
damn about his last name.
Faith
raised her dark brows at him, her pale blue eyes flashing. Her cheeks were pink
with anger. In her black pencil skirt, bright green blouse and conservative
heels, she looked every inch the librarian.
And she was so damn beautiful that it made his heart ache.
She marched
up to him, her finger wagging at him. “You need to apologize.”
He exhaled.
“I’m sorry.”
“That’s
better.” She smiled up at him, her plump lips a temptation that took every
ounce of his will to resist. “When we get together for dinner tonight, I expect
you to not only cook but to be in a much better mood.”
“Yes,
ma’am.”
She
narrowed her eyes. “Stop trying to distract me with your Scottish accent.”
He gave her
an innocent smile. “Wouldn’t dream of it, lass.”
“Now, I
have to go back to work.” She adjusted his tie, fussing over him and he loved
every damn second of it.  “Are we okay?”
“Yes.” He
grabbed her hand, pressing to his heart. “I promise to be on my best behavior
this evening.”
“Good
because I have high standards, and I need to know your opinion of the guy that
I have plans with this weekend.”
His gut
twisted.  “Consider me at your service.”  Only he knew, for the first time, he wouldn’t
be able to be completely honest with her.
In fact,
for the first time during their decades of friendship, he was jealous.

Release Day Blitz: Glass Castle Prince by Nicole Williams

AP new - synopsis.jpg

A glass castle shatters as easily as a glass house—all it takes is one stone.

Prince Edward has known this all of his life, and taken staunch measures to ensure he doesn’t give the public any reason to pick up their rocks. Or torches. Or pitchforks. As a twenty-two-year-old in line to ascend the throne, he lives more like a cloistered monk than his college-aged peers. Restraint is the tone of his life, resilience the theme.

That is, until he meets a young woman who couldn’t care less about his title—unless she’s poking fun at it. Charlotte Everly grew up a stone’s throw away from the royal family’s summer house, but her life was, and is, entirely different from the prince’s.

They clash at each turn, disagree on every topic, and bear a general contempt for one another. Until . . .

One night, accompanied by one proposal, leads to one lapse in judgment . . .

Results in a nationwide scandal neither of them will escape

4 stars
Review by Lisa Kane

"I live in a glass castle where everyone and anyone throws stones based on hearsay and half-truths. I didn't want the same for you. "

There is a universal fascination for royalty. Although the public adore their prince and princesses, they are also the first ones to eat up the gossip if the royals topple off their thrones.

Charlotte Everly is starting a new position as the off-season house manager for the Royal family's summer home. It's the perfect job for her-her father was the groundskeeper for the Royals when she was growing up. It should be quiet and afford her the chance to reflect on her life and what path she wants to take. She's at a crossroads and is taking a year off from school to figure out what she wants.

Only her quiet is interrupted by a group of rowdy guys who she confuses with burglars. So what does she do? Well, who wouldn't grab a frying pan and bring it down hard on one of them. Of course, these are friends of Prince Edward-the same prince who is laying on the floor with a lump the size of an egg, thanks to Charlotte.

"And that, splayed out on the floor thanks to your skill with kitchenware, is Prince Edward."

Charlotte is not fazed by the Royals, least of all Edward, whom she sees as a playboy with no real regard for hard work. When he wakens, he finds he is intrigued by the sassy house manager who seems to actually dislike him. Oh, yes, he is intrigued.

"You're going to rule this country one day, right? I'm sure you can think of a way to figure out my name."

Charlotte can't help but be her feisty self with Edward. She sees the man behind the title. But she is someone who is content to stay out of the public's eye. Whoever Edward will be with-that woman will never be anonymous.

"As prince, I wanted to be with you. As king, I'll want to be with you. Nothing will change where our relationship is concerned."

Charlotte and Edward are perfect for each other. At first glance, how could two people be more different? But they see inside the other, they can be real with each other.

"You see the man, not the crown, and when I look at you, I see the woman I was meant to spend the life with . The woman I want to spend it with."
