3.5 star review by Allison East
This book was not your typical sappy love story; it had lots of ups and downs. I shed some tears and laughed at the dialogue. This is a story based on true events of a journey through the life of very determined, strong young woman. Knowing that this story’s events were real, added to the sad factor. I felt like it was crap pile on top of crap pile for the heroine, and I wanted to reach inside of the book and hug her- like really tightly, and tell her it would eventually be ok. The love and heartbreak as a teenager will stand out, and you will delve into Lil’s mind, body, and soul. I really loved Leo and I really was rooting of him. I
love a good bad boy!
Kimber S. Dawn said “forget everything you have been told about fairytales.” This story takes your level of comfort, and just screws the heck out of it. But, don’t let that be your final decision, whether to read it or not, you will be surprised, as I was. You will definitely have a great read in this book. Kimber’s writing style is really great too.
I thought this was a great story, and if you love twists, turns, dark romances, humor, and angsty stories, this book is for you.

Tattooed across my ribs are the words I have always lived by 'Aut viam inveniam aut faciam tibi' Latin for: If I can not find a way, I will make my own.
