4.5 Star Review by Jen Hagen
Elizabeth is a personal concierge for high-end
clients. What exactly does that job
entail? She shops, packs suitcases for
family vacations, puts together ritzy parties, folds their underwear, and also
sends flowers to women after their one night with Grant Morgan essentially
thanking them but yet dismissing them at the same time.
Elizabeth began her personal concierge business while
still in college as a means to cover her expenses since her family suddenly
found themselves in a financial bind.
Upon graduating, Elizabeth continued with her business and is now
working full-time and doing well for herself.
However, she cannot afford to lose any clients so she has instituted a
no sex with clients rule to avoid the potential backlash. Elizabeth has sex on the side with her
friend, Matt. Elizabeth likes their
relationship because there are no feelings involved, but all that changes when
Matt professes that he loves her (and my heart broke for him).
“No. No, no, no.
This couldn’t be happening. We
were friends. He wasn’t supposed to say
things like that.”
Enter Mr. Grant Morgan.
He is gorgeous, successful and a well-noted playboy. He doesn’t do relationships and does not want
his heart to become damaged again…once of that was enough for him. He sets his eyes on Elizabeth and wants her, even
though she works for him and it is against her policy. Grant is used to getting
his way and he is persistent in his pursuit.
“Invite me in,
Elizabeth. I won’t leave here until I’ve
had you beneath me, writhing and moaning and calling my name…Invite me in.”
There is more to Grant than to what everybody sees. He is more than just sex, money and
power. He has a soft side and wants to
be a good man. He doesn’t want his money
and fame to declare who is he and he definitely doesn’t want women to use him
for this. Grant likes control, and he
definitely takes control in the bedroom (**fans self**). Grant has experience in this department and
it definitely shows.
Grant and Elizabeth are a great fit together. Grant is very patient and doting with
Elizabeth. Sometimes I really wanted to
give Elizabeth a swift kick in the butt because she could be so stubborn and
unwilling to let Grant show the depth of his feelings for her.
“You have no idea
how much I care for you, do you? I need
you, Elizabeth. You’re a breath of fresh
air in this closed off world I live in…”
Life is going too well for these two…I started looking at
my progress in the book thinking “there’s plenty of time for something to go
wrong” and yes, things definitely took a turn.
A conniving wanna-be lover and misconceptions threaten to put an end to
their relationship.
“I think it’s best
you leave before I say what I’m really thinking. Leave with some dignity, Elizabeth.”
Grant throws out very hurtful words to Elizabeth. It would be difficult to ever forgive him for
saying these out loud to her, but in his moment of passion and hurt I
understood where he was coming from. He
never thought anybody could deceive him again and his anger took hold and he
let loose.
Following this heated verbal exchange there’s a 25%
remaining in the book and hold on tight because the angst is never ending. If you were upset at Grant for his harsh
words, you will forget every single one he spoke when you see how sweet and
tender he becomes. He will win your
heart over and you will want a Grant in your life.
“This is where we
started, Elizabeth. You, me, and the
stars. I lost my heart to you that night
and I’m standing here now to tell you that you can keep it. I want you to have my heart forever.”
I have read all of Jessica’s prior writings and enjoyed
them. In fact Love Square and His Ever
After were on my best of 2013 list. She
has the ability to quickly draw in the reader and keep us captivated with her
fast-paced stories but yet not leaving out any details, and I can’t forget to
mention how HOT her sex scenes are. I
look forward to Jessica’s future writings.

Dance with Me

“Dance
with me.”
I looked
at Grant when I heard his words. When we came to the White Rabbit tonight, I
never thought he’d want to dance with me. Sure we had danced a few times
together before but that was to slow music. Katy Perry’s “Dark Horse” was
anything but slow.
“You’re
serious?” I asked with some skepticism.
“I
wouldn’t have asked if I wasn’t. Come. Let me show you all the moves in my
arsenal.” He gave me saucy grin and winked, knowing full well I wouldn’t be
able to leave that one alone.
“I’ve
seen your moves already,” I said with disinterest in my voice. I always enjoyed
our back and forth.
“You
haven’t seen anything, love. I bet I could make you come on the dance floor
without anyone even realizing what was happening.”
My heart
skipped a beat at that promise. And I knew it was a promise. Grant didn’t tout
his abilities if he couldn’t back them up. Of that I was sure.
“Challenge
accepted.” I reached my hand out and he took it in his before leading me out on
the dance floor.
Grant
pulled me flush against him so that we were chest to chest. His hand ran down
the exposed skin of my back and into my dress, cupping my ass which was mostly
bared thanks to my thong.
His hips
began to circle and gyrate to the beat of the music and oh God did that feel
good. Every few seconds the bulge in his pants would rub at just the right spot
that got my juices flowing and my blood pumping.
I might
act like I didn’t want Grant to best this challenge, but I secretly really did.
Ever since we got together I began to crave him and the orgasms he could give
me. You would too if you were in my shoes.
“That’s
it love,” Grant praised me when I grabbed his ass and pushed his hips tighter
into mine. I needed the friction.
We moved
in time together. Our bodies hot and writhing against each other even though we
were both fully clothed. My core clenched with need and I could feel sweat
trickling down my body as one song morphed into the next.
Grant
grabbed the string of my thong and yanked it rhythmically so that it rubbed
against my clit. My eyes widened and within seconds I felt the ball of tension
spreading in my belly. When it finally snapped I knew it was going to feel
spectacular.
“Is your
pussy wet, Elizabeth?” Grant whispered in my ear seductively. “Does it wish it
had my cock driving into it? Fast and hard?”
He
grabbed my hand and showed me just how hard he was. And I wanted him inside me
desperately.
“When I
watched you dance that first night, all I could imagine was being with you just
like we are now. It should have been my hands on you. My mouth on you. And my
body that you used to get off. Not that fucker’s.”
It took a
moment for the haze of my Grant fog to lift enough for me to realize he was talking
about the night Matt and I danced in front of him.
“It’s
only you, Grant. Only you I want touching me, tasting me and making love to
me,” I reassured him. One arm wrapped around his shoulder while the other
pulled him neck down so that I could kiss him. Once our mouths met, his head
slanted and our tongues tangled with each other.
On a
delicious tug of my thong in conjunction with a hard grind of Grant’s groin
against mine, my mouth broke from his and a low moan sounded in my throat.
“Let go,
Elizabeth. Show me how beautiful you are when you come.”
Ever the dutiful girlfriend, I did as I was told. My
fingers dug into his shoulders when it crashed over me. When I finally opened
my eyes, Grant wore a smug expression. Yes, my man definitely had abilities
that deserved every bit of the
gloating he did.
