Synopsis
EMILY MICHAELS ~ Have you ever felt like you didn’t belong? Like you never fit in, or you weren’t good enough? This is how I have felt for as long as I can remember.
I see the world differently than everyone else, I feel everything differently and I reflect on life differently. And being different in my world is not a good thing.
I live in a place that’s divided between the rich and the poor, the beautiful and the unbeautiful, the prestigious and the mediocre. I have always belonged in the first category, because my father was the Governor of Georgia.
Growing up around people I could never relate with, my life had always been lonely, that was until my senior year when I met the one boy who would change my life forever. A boy who my parents would never approve of because he didn’t come from money or the same social class. He rode a motorcycle, had tattoos and was considered to be from the wrong side of the tracks. Yet he was still envied by many.
Ryder Jameson was someone who every guy feared, and one who every girl wanted to be touched by. He didn’t do attachments, or have friends… until me. And for the first time in my life I finally felt like I belonged. When I was with him, my different didn’t feel wrong or ugly. He made me feel beautiful- insightfully beautiful. Then one day my world came crashing down on me, and it would be six years before I'd once again see the boy I fell in love with.
RYDER JAMESON ~ After working my ass off I am given the opportunity of a lifetime, and if I pull it off I will be the youngest FBI agent to run one of the biggest undercover operations in history. Only the case that gets thrown in front of me leads me back to the one place I swore I would never return to, and to the only girl who’s ever mattered to me.
Except Emily Michaels is not the same girl I left behind. She still looks the same, she’s still beautiful inside and out, but there’s one thing that’s very different about her, one very big thing, and it’s something I didn’t think was possible.
Ryder and I come from a world where politics separates us and wealth defines us, but even after all this time we will not let it divide us.
Here is our story.

When I first started reading
K.C. Lynn I was blown way by the way this girl can write a story. Well not only did she fill her shoes she has
surpassed it by miles and I will now say that I will read anything that this
author writes ever.
This story sent me through all
kinds of different emotions, it went from love, to friendship, to heartache, to
determination, to courage and also hate.
Have you ever felt like you didn’t belong? Like you
never fit in, or you weren’t good enough? This is how I have felt for as long
as I can remember.
Meet Emily
Michaels. She comes from a very rich and influential family, think Governors
and Senators. All she wants to do is fit in, all she wants is to be normal, all
she wants to do is be accepted by her family.
“Good
morning, Mother.” I greet her carefully,
knowing she’s going to be in even more of a foul mood than usual today
“I guess
you’re still planning to go through with this stupid idea of yours.”
I don’t
let her condescending tone deter me.
“Yes. I
told you I am not changing my mind.”
I hear
her huff then feel her step closer. I
try not to roll my eyes as she fixes my hair and fusses with my dress; I’m clearly not up to her standards. I also get a whiff of vodka on her breath,
something that isn’t uncommon. “I don’t
remember your dress being this snug.”
Ok so we get that her mother
is the biggest bitch out there.
Actually, bitch is too nice a word for her. She gives Joan Crawford an award for mother
of the year, wire hangers and all.
This beautiful loving girl with a heart of complete gold
doesn’t let anything set her back. She
is the strongest woman out there I know.
She doesn’t let anything set her back no matter how dire
the situation. In the end all she wants
is to finish high school and move out and be free. Free from the hell that she lives in.
I see the world differently than everyone else, I feel
everything differently and I reflect on life differently. And being different
in my world is not a good thing.
So now she is finally with one step closer to her goal,
she has finally got her parents to allow her to attend high school, no more
homeschooling for this girl. All she has
to do is go to school, keep her head down, and not let anyone notice her. Oh boy, this is going to be fun.
Ryder Jameson was someone who every guy feared, and one
who every girl wanted to be touched by. He didn’t do attachments, or have
friends… until me.
Ryder I think I love you, actually I don’t think, I know
I love you with all my heart and other parts of me. Ryder Jameson is from the
wrong side of the tracks, the poor side, he is working his ass off in a garage
to succeed. He’s been given a
scholarship and he is one foot out of this town, not planning to ever look back
ever. Till he sees her, and all his
plans are thrown out the window.
An awkward sliced settles over us now. “Um, well, thank
you, uh, Jamerson, for stepping in. I
um, I really appreciate it,” I stammer out nervously, sounding like a complete
idiot.
There is a moment of silence as he stare at me. “My last name is Jameson. My first name is Ryder,” he replies with a
hint of amusement.
I feel my face flame with humiliation, and silently pray
for the ground to swallow me whole. “Oh,
sorry”
“It’s no big deal.”
I clear my throat then stick out my hand. “I’m Emily
Michaels.” His big, warm hand engulfs my small one, and for some reason the
simple touch sends a flutter low in my tummy.
“I know who you are.”
And those five words starts a friendship that was
taboo. A friendship that could only
happen in secret, in closets, after school, during lunch breaks. What they didn’t know was that with this
friendship they would find a love that was so pure and everlasting that nothing
or no one can tear them apart. For the first
time ever, they both feel like they belong and they belong to each other,
wholeheartedly.
What happens when the one person that you don’t want to
find out about your love does, well I can tell you it isn’t pretty. It’s down right the hardest thing that I ever
read.
“He’s gone, Emily, and he’s not coming back.”
Pure fear washes over me, and my heart pounds hard and fast. “What do you mean? What have you done to him?”
Pure fear washes over me, and my heart pounds hard and fast. “What do you mean? What have you done to him?”
“I didn’t do anything to him. I was actually very generous; I gave him
enough money to help him get through college.
He accepted it graciously.”
I shake my head, denying his word right away. “You’re
lying, he wouldn’t do that. He wouldn’t
leave me, not for money.”
“Of course he did, and can you blame him? Look at where he comes from. What person wouldn’t take the money?”
“YOU’RE LYING!” I scream as tears start rushing down my
face.
My father loses his patience. “I am not. Now get in the goddamn car!” He
grabs my arm angrily but I pull against his force.
Heartbroken, shattered, and gutted. Those are the words
that came to my mind during that scene.
Along with asshole, bastard and son of a bitch. He left her, he left her, all alone and the
only one to face the sorry excuse she has for parents.
Six years, six god damn long years. 2,190 days 52,416
hours. He left her and now he’s
back. Not only is he back, he is an FBI,
not only that but he is also the youngest FBI agent to run one of the biggest
undercover operations. His latest case
lead him back to the one place that he said he would never go back to. Back to Emily.
My gaze
snaps to her face at the familiar sound of her soft, innocent voice, and all
the air gets sucked out of my lungs as I stare back at the one girl I’ve never
forgotten. Emily Michaels looks almost exactly
how I remember her. She’s still the most
beautiful girl I’ve ever laid eyes on.
So now six years later, a lot can happen in six years,
people change, they grow up, they change how they think. Is this the same Emily that he left behind,
the one who treated me like he was someone important, the one who made him see
what love was, the one who he will forever and always cherish. Or did she finally concede with her family and
will look at him differently?
Ryder and I come from a world where politics separates
us and wealth defines us, but even after all this time we will not let it
divide us.
Will they be able to fight together this time and make sure that
the secrets from the past don’t ruin them, or will true love win out this
time?
Sexy time with Ryder and Emily.
“Stop thinking, only feel, baby.”
I follow his command, and push his open dress shirt down his arms then pull up the T-shirt he wears underneath. “Take this off so I can feel you against me.” He sheds himself of the shirt within seconds then pulls me in close, wrapping me in his strong embrace. Electricity shoots through my entire body, and all the oxygen flees from my lungs.
“Damn, you have the softest skin I’ve ever felt,” he mumbles, burying his face into my neck.
We do nothing for a moment but hold each other, feeling a connection that I know I will never feel with anyone else. I’ve tried, god I have tried to move on, but I couldn’t. I thought it was because I had no closure, but now that he’s back I know that isn’t the case. It’s because he still holds so much of my damaged heart.
Ryder pries my knees apart from his hips before running his hands up the inside of my thighs. I moan, my body trembling in anticipation for what’s to come. He reaches my panty line then gently runs a knuckle down the center of my wet panties, causing slight shock waves to travel through my body. I gasp and he groans. “Fuck me, you are soaked.”
My response is another moan as I thrust my hips toward his touch, craving more pressure. “Ryder, please,” I plead breathlessly.
“Don’t worry, baby, I got you.” He pushes my panties aside and runs two fingers through my wet flesh, skimming over my swollen clit before inserting a single finger inside of me.
“Oh god!” I cry out at the sweet invasion.
His groan is guttural. “Oh fuck, your pussy is as hot and tight as I remember it.” He begins pumping his finger in and out of me. “Look, baby. Look between us, watch what my finger is doing to your sweet pussy.” I glance between our bodies, and the erotic sight has my inner walls clamping down around his finger. The need for release becomes so fierce, so overwhelming, that I feel like my body is about to combust.
