Three Chicks Interview with Noel and Lane

"Oh my goodness I am so nervous! Kristie, Lisa aren't you nervous? I can't believe we are interviewing Noel Falcon and Lane! HOLY CRAP!"  The tour bus doors open and we walk up the steps into the bus..***JAWS DROP*** as Noel struts up to us with Lane by his side, holding his hand out as they walk up to greet us. Hand shakes are exchanged. It is so nice to meet you both.  Jennifer quickly shakes her head coming out of her daze, clears her throat.. " Lisa, Kristie and I would like to thank you both for taking the time do do this interview with us while you are in between shows." Lane shows us to the table and we all sit down. "Ladies, let's do this!"


First off Three Chicks would like to congratulate you two on your engagement and on your little rock star!

Lane: *Smiles* Thank you!

Three Chicks:  Noel, did you know that Lane was in the building when you brought the two topless groupies back with you? Is that why you did it?

Noel: *Clears throat and wipes palms on his jeans* No. I didn't know she was there. I figured I had chased her off yet again and I was pissed at myself. The groupies were my way of blowing off steam.

Three Chicks:  Lane, what is it like living on a tour bus with 4 guys?

Lane: Stinky at first until Riff took it upon himself to clean up the place a bit. He’s actually a pretty sweet guy. Please don't tell him I said that. He'd get ticked if that got out.

Three Chicks:  Noel, there's something we are trying to understand....if the baby was yours were you going to stay with Sophie?  Because we are trying to understand why you think you couldn't be a great father and be with the woman you truly love? Can you please explain it to us?

Noel: I wanted complete access to the baby whenever I wanted. If I was with Sophie, I could have that. She would make it next to impossible to see the kid whenever I wanted otherwise. Sophie’s a bitch and she would have made my life hell unless she got what she wanted. I didn't want an every other weekend relationship with my kid.

Three Chicks:  Noel, you did a stint in rehab. How is your recovery going? Do you still crave the drugs?

Noel: It's going really good. I think I was looking for something to fill the loneliness, and now
that I have Lane and my family that feeling is gone. I feel complete, so the struggle, the craving isn't there
as much as it once was.

Three Chicks:  Lane, how do you deal with the groupies and Noel's past reputation?

Lane: *Takes a deep breath* I try not to think about it. It was a phase he was going through; a dark period of his life. I am still trying to process what he went through. See I don't hold it against him, but I don't like to  dwell on the thoughts of it too much either.

Three Chicks:  Noel, pardon my French but since the cluster fuck incident with Sophie, how is your friendship with Riff? What have you learned from it?

Noel: Riff and I are healing. We are learning to trust one another again and put it all behind us and move forward.  

Three Chicks:  Lane, why is it so important for you to make sure that Noel has his parents back in his life?

Lane: I've known Noel and his parents practically my entire life. I knew how close they were and how much family means to Noel. I just wanted him to have his parents back in his life.

Three Chicks:  Noel, since Lane showed up and ruined your plans for groveling, we have to know. What were your groveling plans?

Noel: *readjusts in seat and laughs nervously* Let's just say I would have done whatever it took. I wasn't above camping out in front of her door until she spoke to me.

Three Chicks:  Lane, when you left to give Noel time to think about what his former body guard Mike and Riff's ex did to him, what were you thinking and how did it affect you?

Lane: I was worried I may never see him again. That I was walking out on him again and he would hate me all over again.

Three Chicks:  Noel, can we just say that your proposal to Lane was awesomely romantic *swooning*, but why the dock? There are so many good and bad memories there?

Noel: It's our place. We shared a ton of firsts there, so it felt right to ask her to be mine forever
there.  

Three Chicks:  Lane, what were your first thoughts when you saw the dock?

Lane: Honestly, I couldn't believe he did all of that. It was like something out of a movie.  

Three Chicks:  Noel, what were your feelings when you saw your dad waiting at the dock? That was completely shocking and unexpected. Are you glad you finally talked to him?

Noel: *Smiles* Yeah I am. It feels good to know we are working on things.

Three Chicks:  Lane, you have loved Noel since forever, why on earth would you think he would ask you to marry him because you are pregnant?

Lane: Because of the entire Sophie situation. *Shrugs* I didn't want him to ask because he felt like he had
to.

Three Chicks:  This question is for the both of you.  How is the upcoming wedding and baby going to affect your touring and the band? What about your work Lane?

Noel: Family is first. We'll find a way to make it all work.*Smiles at Lane*

Lane: I’ll continue to work freelance for a while until the baby gets older. Babies really do change everything.

Three Chicks:  Noel, do you think Striker will back off?

Noel: He better. I won't take it easy on him next time.

Three Chicks:  Lane, one word to describe Noel

Lane: Soulful

Three Chicks:  Noel, same question for you about Lane

Noel: Perfect

"I think we have what we need." We all stand up and stretch. (Jen jumps up a gives Noel a huge hug) Lisa and I are cracking up while we hug Lane goodbye. "Lane and Noel, we can't thank you enough for meeting with us. This has been absolutely amazing. We look forward to catching up with you two again sometime in the future."
