Review: For the Bond by Nora Flite

From USA TODAY Bestselling Author Nora Flite-- the final book in Beyond Blood, a multi-part series:

She belongs to us

Kite:
Getting close to her was a mistake. Dammit.
I shouldn't crave the woman I can't have. Marina is so tempting, so cruel.
Keeping her puts everything at risk.
But losing her will be the death of me.
I'll do whatever it takes to find a way to save her.
She belongs to us. No matter how this has to end...
Marina will always be ours.

4.5 Star Review by Jen Skewes

For the Bond is the final installment in the Beyond Blood series.  I loved everything about this series.  It has it all; drama, angst, mystery, suspense, and very hot and steamy sex scenes.  Oh and let’s not forget about the two sexy alpha males, Kite and Jacob.

The minute I finished reading For the Fight I needed this book.  I needed to know what was going to happen.  I wanted to know what happened in Kite and Jacob’s past that has caused such a strong and unbreakable bond.   But most of all I needed to know how it would all end.

Kite and Jacob have this bond that is so strong that nothing and no one will ever come between it. They had a plan to retire from being hit men and never look back. But Marina Fidel messed up that plan.  And now here they are falling for the woman who asked them for help to get the revenge she has been dreaming of since her family was taken from her.  She is also the woman that they are supposed to get rid of when it is all said and done.  But something happened along the way.  They both fell for her.  If there is something that they both want,  they share it and that evens means Marina.  In this final installment we pick up right where we left off.  The night after their hot and steamy moment together and Kite and Jacob have some decisions to make.

There is no denying the feelings they have for Marina but the big question is can they trust her?  Can they really have a life together after their job is done?  They have to decide what is more important to them.  Is it their unbreakable bond, their future or love?  Which one will prevail?

I do not want to give anything else away so you will just hvae to read the book.  This was the perfect conclusion to this truly fantastic series.  I felt the chemistry and bond that these three characters formed.  They all fit perfectly together.  I think for Kite and Jacob Marina was the missing piece their puzzle.  She is exactly what they were missing in their life an exactly what they needed.  Kite and Jacob are two very sexy alpha males who you will just fall for.  They are two different people but at the same time so much alike.  What’s funny is that to me Kite was the one that was rough around the edges when we first met him but you see a bit of a different side of him when it comes to Marina which I loved.  I had a soft spot for him and whether it was supposed to be this way or not I felt that he had a stinger bond with Marina.  They both loved her in their own way and I loved them both but for some reason Kite just captured me from the beginning.

I love Nora’s writing and how well the story just grabs you.  We get the answers to all of the questions that we had.  We find out more about Jacob and Kite’s past and while you think you know what happened you certainly do not know it all.  Honestly at times I was not sure where it was going.  I knew what I was hoping for but the suspense of it all kept me on the edge of my seat waiting for what was to one next.  I felt like I just devoured this whole series and want to read it all over again, but this time savoring every moment.  This was an amazing series that I am so sad to see end.  If Ms. Flite told me today that we were getting more of these characters you would probably hear me scream no matter where you are.  That is how much I fell in love with them.  This series is a must read.  It has everything you could want in a series and more.   Another fantastic job by Nora Flite!!
