4 star review by Allison East

"To everyone who has a love/hate relationship with me because of Chase, I hope you enjoy Liam."

I mean kill me now Molly- that's the dedication.

I already had tears in my eyes right then and there! After Taking Chances- I was devastated, needless to say I am wary when I read Molly- because I get scared she's going to kill
someone I love again. That book gutted me! Well, since this book is about Chase and Harper's son as the hero, I knew I was going to have to calm myself before I started in on it.
and I was totally surprised- and while Liam is no Chase- he runs in a close second as Molly heroes go.

This book can be read as a standalone, but if you have read Taking Chances and Forgiving Lies (Kennedy is the heroine- and her parents are Kash and Rachel Ryan from Forgiving
Lies) you will definitely understand the backstory, and secondary characters more.

Kennedy the heroine and her twin sister are being forced to move all the way to California due to some goings on with their father’s job. It’s a new start, a new beginning and even though her sister is not excited at all, Kennedy is pretty much okay with it. Then she meets Liam Taylor.

Or sees him again. He is a one night stand from Vegas the year before, that she can'™t seem to forget.

"And I loved that he had me forgetting everything except the two of us just by kissing me."

Liam is the hero and he can't believe Moon, his Moon, from a year ago is there in California. Kennedy is actually Liam's boss's niece and she is working at his dad's gym- what are the odds? He never thought he would find her again, and he isn't going to let her go so easily. But Kennedy has some secrets, and secrets are never kept.

"Don't worry, LC. You'll figure it out when you're ready, just the same as she will. I've seen this before. If I hadn't, you wouldn't be here today."

I liked Kennedy, but I loved Liam. I really enjoyed getting to see Brandon, all grown up. Even though I am team Chase all the way!! And they called Liam, LC- for little Chase- swoon!  I enjoyed Liam'™s friend Brian, he needs a book too!! And I really could have done without Kira- Kennedy's twin, she mostly existed to whine.

"No one was ever worth the chase. But you? You will be worth it every time. I will always chase you, Kennedy."

I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it to anyone who is a Molly fan. She has a great style and great characterization of the people in her stories. There was definite growth in both characters that part I really enjoyed and I think if you love Molly and her writing you
will love this story. And as always- TEAM CHASE!!!

Excerpt: "Trying not to wake him, I slowly slid out from under his arm and off the bed to search for my clothes. Once I was dressed, I told myself to just leave, but I couldn’t help it—I turned to look at him in the light. I needed to be sure I hadn’t made him up. The images from last night tore through my mind again when I saw the large, tattooed arm resting where my body had just been. The muscles were well defined even relaxed, and the face had a boyish charm now that he was asleep. Such a difference from the predatory stare and knowing smirk I kept seeing in my mind. Before I could stop myself, I gently ran my fingers through his dirty-blond hair that, now in the sunlight, I could see had a red tint to it. And I knew if he opened them, those arctic blue eyes would once again captivate me. But I couldn’t risk that. I’d already stayed too long; I’d already made a mistake with him. Drunken one-night stands weren’t my thing. Drunken one-night stands with strangers in Vegas were even worse.
Straightening, I turned and walked quietly from the room."-- Molly McAdams, Trusting Liam

mollyAbout the Author: Molly McAdams grew up in California but now lives in the oh-so-amazing state of Texas with her husband and furry four-legged daughters. Her hobbies include hiking, snowboarding, traveling and long walks on the beach, which roughly translates to being a homebody with her hubby and dishing out movie quotes. When she's not at work, she can be found hiding out in her bedroom surrounded by her laptop, cell, Kindle and fighting over the TV remote. She has a weakness for crude-humored movies, fried pickles and loves curling up in a fluffy comforter during a thunderstorm...or under one in a bathtub if there are tornados. That way she can pretend they aren't really happening. Connect with her: Twitter-Facebook-Website Check it out on Amazon:
