Synopsis:

Kindle Alexander has done it again. Double Full is a beautiful, heart breaking story of two men trying to find their happiness and the struggles that they go through to get there.
Colt Michaels is on his way to becoming an NFL football star. He is the star quarterback at his college, he is hot and sexy and some would think that he has everything that he wants. But they are wrong, because all though he wants the football career and everything that comes along with it there is one thing or should I say person that he wants, Jace Montgomery. Colt is secretly gay and has been secretly pining for Jace for the past four years. When he finds himself in the locker room alone with Jace he realizes that he can no longer hold back. One hot, passionate moment between the two of them leaves them both wanting more. Colt invites Jace to go away with him for spring break to spend some time together. Jace is openly gay and never thought in a million years that Colt would want him, but he does and Jase is not about to pass this up, even if it is only for 5 days. After spending five amazing days together, neither one of them are ready to let go. They both want more and are willing to make it work, even if that means hiding their relationship. But when they leave paradise and go back to reality, their worlds come crashing down causing hearts to be shattered and promises to be broken.

Fast forward 10 years later where Colt is now playing in the NFL. He has it all, a career in the NFL, money, fame and a fiance. But none of that matters to Colt, because all that he has wanted for the past 10 years is Jace. He has drowned his sorrows in a bottle for the past ten years and is engaged to marry a woman that he doesn't even like, let alone love. Colt has lived the life that his father wants him to live. For Colt, coming out as a gay man could mean losing EVERYTHING and I am not just talking about his football career. Colt has never stopped loving Jace and it's now time to decide if he is going to continue living the lie that everyone else wants him to live. Or will he clean up his act and fight for the life he wants, and the only person that he has ever loved?

It's been 10 years since Jace's heart was broken and as much as he has tried to move on from Colt Michaels he can't. He still loves him and no matter how many other men he is with, none of them will compare to Colt. When he finds out that Colt is going to get married, it's like his heart has been broken all over again. Colt and Jace never stopped loving each other over the past 10 years and are truly meant to be together. Seriously the love these two have for each other will completely melt your heart. Colt and Jace find each other again but there are still issues and obstacles that they need to overcome before they can find their happiness. Is their love enough to get past it all? Will they be able to move on from the past, the hurt, and their trust issues? Are they both willing to fight for the life they want with each other and the one that they both deserve?
"I love you, Jace. I always have, and through all my mistakes, I wanted you to know I’ve never said that to anyone else. Only you."
Double Full was such an emotional journey. I fell in love with both characters and my heart completely broke for them at different times and for them in different ways. I don't want to give too much of the story away but it was so sad and emotional to see these two amazing men love each other so much, have this amazing bond and yet had to hold back for fear of what would happen if anyone knew about their relationship. Watching Colt live a life that he hated broke my heart. The love that these two men had for each other and the relationship that they had was so beautiful and amazing. You will fall in love with them and find your self rooting for them. They will completely capture your heart from the beginning. There was also one character, Dr. Knox who to say was amazing is an understatement. He is the one person that everyone needs in their life. He was there for Colt in every way that he needed him to be.
Colt and Jase's story was a beautifully written story of love, passion, strength, and second chances. It's about finally giving in and fighting for what you want no matter what it costs you. This book will make you angry, frustrated, sad, and will break your heart at times. I felt the pain that these two men went through, I felt every emotion as if I was going through it all with them. But it was all worth it because you will be left with a smile in the end and wanting more of Jace and Colt. This is one of those stories that will touch your heart and stay with you.
