This is a powerful novella that takes place after Ruin and Toxic.  Wes is happy with each day that he is able to spend with Kiersten, and is anxious to begin their lives together as husband and wife.  Kiersten still worries about Wes and the fact that she almost lost him. 

Wes has plenty to be thankful for.  He is healthy, his football career is flourishing, he has a fiancée by his side, and he has a witty sidekick in Gabe.  Gabe’s life seems to have settled down and he is able to be himself.  Lisa’s life was focused upon a little more in this short story and we are able to see what she left behind/ran away from in her pre-college life.  I look forward to seeing what Rachel has in store for us with Lisa’s back story.  All of the books in this series bring out strong emotions and every single one has brought me to tears.    These stories are all about capturing the moment because you never know when life is going to change in an instant and the love of your life will only be a memory.  Treasure today.
