 I loved this book! Vi Keeland and Penleope Ward are the Tina Fey and Amy Poehler of the literary world. They tell stories full of witty banter, smoking hot sex scenes and angsty heartbreaking moments. Mr. Moneybags is their latest hit. 

Bianca George is scheduled to interview Dexter Truitt, CEO of Montague Enterprises. But she has a run in with an elevator determined to inflict the most fear and damage it can to her. And she’s not alone, trapped in said elevator. A guy with a voice like velvet is there too. Thank god she has her stress balls to keep her calm.

“They chime. How nice,” he said in a seemingly sarcastic manner. “What exactly are you doing with them?”

“Rotating them.”

“This actually does something for you?”

This girl intrigues him, but it doesn’t take long for him to find out she’s on her way up to interview him. Her distain for rich, entitled power houses comes shining through. Once the lights come on, he’s even more convinced he wants to get to know this girl, certainly wants to sleep with her, maybe even date her? But if she finds out who he is, this episode of Love in an Elevator will quickly become Dream On. So Jay Reed is invented. 

You know that no matter how good things are between two people getting to know each other, once the truth hits the proverbial fan, it’s all going to go to crap. 

Staring, I couldn’t believe what was written clear as day on line one.

Dexter Truitt. 

Betrayal. Bianca has trust issues for good reasons and now she’s not sure what to do. To forgive and start over or cut your losses? 

“Dex. We need to slow down.”

Don’t forget for even a moment that this is a Ward/Keeland collaboration. That means angst, other shoes dropping, ominous music playing in your head because you know “that moment” is near. *insert evil laugh* Yep, it has a bunch of them. Delicious, stomach plummeting, “are you kidding me?” moments! 

Here’s my question though. Will our favorite four legged scene stealing goat make an appearance. I’ve come to count on it, am I going to be let down? I think I needed this question answered just as much as I needed to know how things could work out between Bianca and Dex. 

“ I did. I loved your balls from the moment I first met you, and I especially loved your—“
