I love AL Jackson, I have read all of her books, and she never disappoints. I thought Come to Me Quietly was phenomenal, and Come to Me Softly was no different. Every time I read one of her books I get transported into AL's world, I want to get lost there. Jared and Aly's story is one of heartbreak and pain, but also love.

"I pressed all my hard to her soft, holding her close against me as I flattened myself to the snowy skin of her back. Mmm...yeah. I was in love with this girl. And I wasn't going to let her go."

Jared comes back to Aly's life, but nothing has changed. He wants to get over his past- but it seems like he is unable to live with the past, and the mistake he believes that he made. he definitely wants to be worthy of Aly, and her love, but he feels like he can't love her the way she deserves to be loves. He still wants and needs to be with her. He can't live like this

Aly has loved Jared her entire life. She needs him to basically man up, and deal with his demons for her, for them. She can't go on without him- but with his issues weighing them down its hard to move forward.

There is more of Aly's brother and parents in the story, which I always love secondary characters. And they are so well written- I want Christopher's story too, he needs a HEA.

This story makes you feel all the feelings they feel- hope, love- but also loss and pain. Elements of hurt, but also forgiveness. You won't want to miss a single bit of this story, so don't plan on starting late in the night, you'll be up until morning trying to finish it.
