Colton and Gia are from Until June
Colton Allyster is relieved to be back home. After a year of rehabilitation, losing his career as a Marine along with his fiancĂ©, he’s had to learn quickly what’s really important. Colton grew up wanting to serve his country. Managing his parents’ biker bar was never part of his plan, but after meeting Gia Caro, he’s beginning to think that’s exactly where he’s meant to be.
Ever since Gia Caro arrived in the small, sleepy town of Ruby Falls, Tennessee, her life has spiraled out of control. Between losing her grandmother a little more each day to dementia, and her hot boss’s constant attention, her once quiet existence isn’t so quiet anymore.
After weeks of sidestepping Colton, things get out of hand, and before Gia knows what’s happening, she’s spending her nights in his bed and her mornings in his kitchen. And as he cleans out drawers and makes room in his closet, she starts to wonder if she’s falling too fast.
Fast is pretty much how this book moved. When Gia Caro learns that the grandmother she believed was dead is very much alive but not doing well, she drops everything and leaves her life in Chicago to go to Tennessee to care for her. When she gets there she realizes that her grandmother’s condition and finances are much worse than she thought. Landing a job in the Dusty Rose brings her in constant contact of the hottest guy in town, Colton Allyster. With everything going on in her life the last thing she has time for is men, but Colton has made it clear that he is more than a little interested in her and he’s not going to let her get away.
Colton Allyster knows exactly what heartache feels like being left by the woman he loved when he was at the lowest part of his life hasn’t made him the most relationship hungry person. However, one look at Gia Caro and he’s a goner. He has set his sights and heart on Gia, he just has to convince her they should be together.

I enjoyed Gia and Colton; I liked the conversation and the banter between them. There were a few giggle moments for me. Colton was almost like an open book. His didn’t seem to have any difficulty saying what he was feeling, very hot quality in a guy. The supporting characters were all likeable (except one, but I’ll let you discover that). I especially enjoyed his mom; she was the classic overprotective meddling mom. I’m very curious to see if more storylines will be developed for Gia’s friend Nat and Colton’s brother Carson; but I’m especially curious about Colton’s best friend Tide.
Although the relationship between Gia and Colton moved a warp speed there were times when the story itself dragged at times, but for the most part an okay read.
