Juliette Ginocassi is the daughter of a big time mobster. She's living in LA doing script rewrites and trying to make a living far away from her father's illegal goings on. But her father calls, talks in code about his pizza shop and how it's getting "hot" there and how there are some trying to get to his "sauce". That's all a way to say that things are heating up and Juliette is in danger. She wants no part of this conversation when he tells her she's getting a body guard for her safety. She hangs up and goes about her day. That is up until a gorgeous guy gets between her and her coffee. Enter hunky body guard.
Wes Callahan has the dubious distinction of being assigned by Juliette's father to be her body guard. Now you know she's going to give him such a hard time. This includes making him sleep in his car in front of Juliette's house and getting the cops involved by a noisy neighbor.
Things can only go up from here. Right? Wes has a job to carry out and he's not about to let his sassy charge get in his way. Besides, nobody wants trouble with Julliette's dad. There are lots of twists to this one, and of course one that will make your eyes pop out. But the dialogue between these two-oh there is some witty banter to keep up with so keep turning those pages.
