I have read and love every one of Mandi Beck's books. Sop I wan ex iced to read Sin Bin, especially tally because it about a hockey player, my favorite sports romance. Sin bin is a quick, hot and sexy read that put a smile on my face.

Jason is a hockey player in the NHL. He panda a weekend at his old college to help mento their next up and. coming hockey star. When he sees Stella Cruz for the first time he wants her. He knows she is still in college and 10 years younger than her, but one night won't hurt.

Stella is a young softball star who has worked hard to get where she is. She has not let love or sex get in the way of her dreams and what she has been working so hard for. When she sees Jason Dagger, she has no idea who he is and she doesn't honestly care. He is hot and sexy and when he approaches her she knows that her night will be spent with him. They spend a passionate weekend again and when it is all over Jason goes back to Chicago without a word. When he is back his his home town six months later, he hopes to see Stella again but knows that she probably hates him. When he sees her though he gets more than just an attitude from her.

I loved the two of the together. Jason is a a but of a player but he's also an NHL star who doesn't really want to settle down. He is cocky, arrogant and sexy but he also has a sweet side and loves his family. You can see how important family is to him. I really loved Stella, and ho independent he was. She definitely didn't take to Jason Dagger like all the other girls do. I rally enjoyed this book. It was a little short and I knew going in that it was novella, but loving this story and the characters I would love more. I cannot wait for Levi's book.

God. How screwed up was I?

“It pisses me off how smart you can be sometimes,” I muttered and sipped my wine, eyes drifting out the window. If that had been the case, then I’d twisted reality for years. Believed it and based a life off it. I pressed my hand to my forehead and sighed. “I’m such a disaster, Jordan. A complete mess. I honestly don’t know why you bother.”

“Because when you let your guard down and let people see you, you’re still the most stunning woman I’ve ever met. You only have to start believing it.”

I dropped my hand as pleasure whipped through my veins. He was always bold and confident. I wasn’t used to this new bluntness. “It’ll take a while.”

“I’m a patient guy. And I’m hoping that at the least, you’ll start to believe how I see you, and the rest will come. You just have to trust me this time. Can you do that?”

Could I trust him? God, I’d trust him with my life. It was a ridiculous question. None of the decisions I made were because I didn’t trust him. It was simple self-preservation.

“I can do that,” I finally said.

“Good.”

“Good.” He grinned.

I blushed.

We were ridiculous.

“So what happens now?” I asked. He gestured to my almost empty wineglass.

“Would you like another?”

“No. It’ll probably put me to sleep.”

He took his to the sink and dumped it. I drank the last two sips while he rinsed out the glass, cleaned up the small mess we’d made and resettled the wine in the fridge.

“You didn’t answer my question,” I said once he turned and headed in my direction.

“Now,” he said, and he shot me that smoldering look of his. Furrowed brows, head dipped, heat in his eyes I remembered oh so well, and continued, “We’re going to make out on your grandma’s couch like we used to. We kiss until we can’t breathe. Maybe, if I’m lucky, you let me feel you up a bit, and then I go home with a hard-on like I used to, and tomorrow, we try to do better than we did tonight.”

His hands hit my hips. His head dipped. A furious heat swam on my cheeks and spread, warming other parts of me with precision like my libido was directly connected to his voice.

And as his lips brushed my cheek, went to my neck, his hands slid up to my waist and I fell into him, the feel of him, his touch, and the way he moved so slowly and seductively, there was really only one word I could give him.

“Okay.”

I have read everything from Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward. Both their individual stories and those they've written together. But Hate Notes...this is one story that will stay with me for a long, long time. I can't imagine that they will write anything that can top this for me.

Charlotte Darling is browsing through the racks of a second hand wedding store. She has her own gorgeous wedding dress, but that's never going to see the light of day on her body. Not since she saw Todd and a co-worker bobbing for apples with her under his desk. Of course he protested that he would do anything to get her back...his efforts lasted a couple of weeks. Charlotte not only lost her fiance, but her job. He was her boss's boss and she wasn't going to keep working there. But she does have a dress she wants to get rid of-

She can't get cash for her dress, only credit. When she spies a gorgeous gown with feathers (yes feathers!) in a bluish tone she feels compelled to try it on. If only she could get the zipper up. But wait, what's this sewn into the dress. It's a note on blue stationery, at the top From the Desk of Reed Eastwood is embossed.

That dress and that note are going to change lives.

Turns out Charlotte exchanged the dress for hers, saw Todd's engagement announcement on social media (!) and stalked Reed Eastwood. He's gorgeous, wealthy and is the king of real estate. A bottle of wine later and Charlotte has an appointment to view one of his multi million dollar listings. She figures she has nothing to lose and maybe she can meet the most romantic man in the world. He's no fool, he's had her checked out and he's going to read her the riot act for wasting his time.

Reed Eastwood is arrogant and mean.

"It would be a dream, nothing I'll ever really get to live. So sue me for being a dreamer, Eastwood."

A crying jag in the ladie's room leads to a meeting with Iris, a rich woman with a sympathetic ear, which leads to a dream job opportunity. Which leads to Iris' grandson, Reed.

That gives you the background of how they met, and why they have a little history before working together. Charlotte is now Iris's assistant. And Reed's. Oh boy, oil meet vinegar.

Why didn't Allison marry Reed? Why is this gorgeous man have so many walls up? Why can't Charlotte get him out of her head?

There is so much to this story. There are some parts that reduced me to a snotty, red eyed mess. The dialogue is so well written and the banter between them is witty and unique and so spot on. I devoured this story. And when all my questions were answered and all the pages (I had an actual paper copy with pages I could smell and feel and turn!) were flipped, it was a bitter sweet moment. When you get to the last chapter, you'll see why I chose bitter sweet. And I was ok with that. Life is messy and has twists and turns that aren't always pretty, but shape the journeys of our lives. The fact that the authors chose to leave in the ugly with the beautiful only adds to this story!
