Release Blitz: Confessions of a Naught Nanny by Piper Rayne

When a famous music producer moves to Lake Starlight it can’t just be a coincidence. It’s the universe helping to move things along in the right direction so that Griffin Thorne can discover me.

I have to confess—I’ll do whatever it takes to make that happen.

Confession #1: I may have overhead that he was in search of a nanny. What can I say? My brother has a big mouth.

Confession #2: It’s possible I helped along the assumption that I had nanny experience. Hey, babysitting my nieces and nephew counts, right?

Confession #3: There’s a good chance I oversold my qualifications. But my Grandma Dori backed me up, so it’s not completely my fault.

And it worked. He hired me. Only for me to find out that he left the business.

I guess it’s on to Plan B.

When he accidentally overhears me singing, I expect nothing from him. Then he asks to work with me on a song for our town’s Founder’s Day Parade and it feels like a dream come true. Until...

Confession #4: I’ve fallen for him.

Have I mentioned that I LOVE this series?  I'm sure that I have many times, but I will say it again.  I love this series from this amazing writing duo.  There are a lot of member of the Bailey family which means that there are more than enough books in this series to keep us wanting more.  What I love is that a with each book in this series, I love each Bailey even more.  There have been series where after a while I have stopped reading after the third or fourth book, because sometimes there are just too many characters and the series loses they it's spark and I tend to lose interest.  But not with this series.  Not once have I ever gotten bored or thought that's enough.  I have loved every book in this series, and I can't wait for the next one, even if I have to wait until June!

This is Phoenix Bailey's love story.  She is the family member who everyone always seems to see as the one who messes up.  She seems to make the wrong decisions and knows that many times she "shouldn't have" done this or that.  She is a singer and her dream is to make it big. When music producer Griffin Thorne moves to her small Alaskan town she is determined to figure out a way for him to hear her sing.  She knows he needs a nanny for his son, which is the perfect way to get his attention.  But her brother is adamant about her staying away from Griffin.  When she accidentally runs into him so how it turns into him hiring her as his nanny, which is perfect.  Until she finds out that he has left the business and focusing on his son.  So now she has to come up with a new plan, one that does not include falling in love!!  Easier said than done.

Phoenix and Griffin have this amazing chemistry and intent bond.  And she knows how to talk to and understand his 8-year-old son, Maverick.  There is nothing more attractive to Griffin that a woman who captures his son's attention and heart.  There is a line that these two are both wanting to cross, but with that comes many obstacles.  Is what they have real enough to try to make it work?

I loved watching these two fall for each other and their love story unfold.  There was no denying the chemistry and the attraction.  But they seem to both be in two different phases of their lives.  Griffin is focusing on raising his son, while she wants to pursue her dreams, but despite all of that there is an undeniable connection between the two of them.  Griffin I think in a way makes her feel like she is the disappointment that she may sometime feel like she is.  For Griffin, she is so different than his ex and so special in a way that makes him want more.  She has so much passion and a big heart.  And the bond that she formed with Maverick beautiful to watch.

Griffin is a selfless man and I loved him.  Some people may think that him leaving LA was about running away, but there was such a bigger reason for his move.  And that was his son, and I loved that part of him.   There are moments where you want to smack him for his decisions, but then he does something else that has you swooning all over again. Griffin and Phoenix were perfect for each other.  Together they may me laugh, swoon and had a way of melting my heart.  I loved seeing them open up to each other, showed their vulnerable sides.

This was just another example of why I love these two ladies.  We still get to see all the Bailey clan and catch up with them.  I especially liked the little surprise at the end.  We were also left hanging a little bit, and no this is not a cliffhanger.  But the end sets us up for the next book which is Juno's and I cannot wait for it!!!!
