Blog Tour and Giveaway: Revived by Samantha Towle

Synopsis
India Harris didn’t have the best start in life. Abandoned as a baby, she and her twin brother, Kit, spent their lives in foster care, only having each other to rely on. Then, at a young age, a relationship with the wrong man left India pregnant. Wanting to give her son the life she never had, she put herself through school and graduated with honors.

Now, at the age of thirty, she’s a highly respected therapist.

At the top of his game as a Formula One driver, Leandro Silva had everything—until an accident on the track left him staring death in the face. After enduring twelve months of physical therapy, Leandro is now physically able to race, but his mind is keeping him from the track. Frustrated and angry, Leandro’s days and nights are filled with limitless alcohol and faceless women.

Entering the last year of his contract, he knows he has to race again, or he’ll lose everything he spent his life working for. Forced into therapy to get his life back, Leandro finds himself in the office of Dr. India Harris.

Falling for his uptight therapist is not part of Leandro’s plan.

Having unethical feelings for her patient, the angry Brazilian race car driver, is not part of India’s plan.

But what if the wrong person is the only person who is right?

4 Star Review by Lisa Kane

We Met Leandro Silva in Reved. He was Carrick Ryan's biggest rival. But I was intrigued by him; it was obvious he was interested in Andi, Carrick's love interest, but he was always respectful and never crossed the line with her. He was in a horrific accident during one of his races and he was sidelined due to his injuries. He was so injured, he actually dead for a minute and was brought back by the doctors, although his body was revived, his mind is still suffering.

It's a year later and Leandro can't bring himself to drive a car yet alone race. He may have recovered physically from the accident but he is so traumatized that he has spent the last year drowning in booze and women. His sponsors have given him a time limit to get his act together or he will be dropped.

I have to race again.

I have to get back in a car.
I have to do this.
I can do this.
I've been driving all my life.

Surprisingly enough, he has become very close to Carrick and Andi, who are now married. They stood by him for the last year and as much as he would never admit it to Carrick, he values their friendship. Andi has shared her fears about Carrick's racing and that therapy has helped her to get over most of them.

India Harris is Andi's therapist. She was raised in foster homes along with her twin brother Kit. At the last group home she was at, she fell in love with an older man, Paul, one of the workers there and became pregnant at 17. Paul was not a nice guy, and she learned all kinds of disgusting things about him. With Kit's support, (he is a model) she raised her son Jet, got a good education and is now a single mom to her son who is 12. She has a great practice and life is good. There may not be any real passion in her life, but she has learned it is better to live life safely.

Leandro is desperate enough to try therapy with India but he is blown away when first sees her. They both feel the chemistry between them, but both struggle to keep it professional. India is a huge help in breaking through to his fears and little by little he makes great strides. But trying to keep things professional between them-that doesn't work out too well for them.

"Right now, I want to get down on my knees, pull off your panties, and show you just how unethical my tongue can be."

Crossing lines could mean losing India's license and she has a son to support. She makes a tough decision for the right reasons but both know it is a mistake.

Months go by and both have struggled without the other. But Leandro is ready to get India and her son both back into his life. This move will open a Pandora's box for both of them. Their love and passion is evident, but Leandro was once her patient and she could lose everything if someone were to find out.

I loved seeing Carrick and Andi together-they are happily married, and Carrick has calmed down and is content with his life. Leandro has done a complete turn around too-both of these manwhores owe these changes to the women in their lives. There is a little angst thrown in by some over zealous fan girls that add a little spice to the story. Throw in India's ex who is lurking in the background and this romance is now peppered with suspense.

This was a nice, easy read. While Reved had stomach plummeting moments at just about every turn, this one has a few, but for the most part it is about their relationship evolving and working through the obstacles thrown their way. I would have liked to have seen Carrick and Andi's future further down the line but maybe there will be another story that will let us catch up with them. Maybe Petra and Kit's?

"My life was on a downward spiral to hell before I met you. You saved me in more ways than one. Loving you saved me."

Excerpt  - Leandro

My eyes move to the magazines on the table. A sports mag is peeking out from under the fashion mags. Leaning forward, I pull it out, instantly wishing I hadn’t.
On the cover of the magazine is a picture of me with the caption, What the Bad Side of Formula 1 Looks Like.
Nice.
So, now, I’m the bad side of Formula 1. Good to know.
I already know what the media say about me. How I’ve turned from a great racer into a drunk and a whore.
They’re not wrong on the whore part. Well, whore is a bit harsh. I don’t charge for my services. And I wouldn’t say I’m a drunk. I just like to drink—a lot.
I shouldn’t read the article. I know this, but the sadistic part of me has me turning those pages.
Finding the article, eyes scanning the text, I pick out the usual shit.
Why is Silva no longer racing? Physically, he’s healthy. Is it mental problems? Fear over racing because of his accident? Is that why he drinks—drowning his misery in alcohol? Such a shame to see a once great driver fall from grace so dramatically.
Frustration and rage grip my chest like a vise.
Fuck this. I don’t need this shit.
Even though I can’t race, it’s not like I actually need to.
I don’t need to race. I just need to drink and fuck. That’s all I need now. All I will ever need.
Liar.
I’m a liar and a chickenshit. And that’s why I’m sitting in the waiting room to see a therapist.
Maybe I am beyond help.
Tossing the magazine back onto the table, I get to my feet, ready to leave this place, just as the door opens, revealing the epitome of what I could really do with screwing right now.
My eyes trail up the tanned, toned legs to the fitted pencil skirt that I would happily hitch up to see the magnificent pussy that I bet lies beneath. A pale-pink blouse is tucked into that skirt, covering what looks like a fantastically sized pair of tits. Silky blonde hair sits on her shoulders. Hair that I would enjoy getting my hands all tangled in while I fuck those bright red lips of hers, enjoying seeing that lipstick smeared all over my cock.
My dick pulses in my jeans, more than ready to proposition her with the offer.
“Mr. Silva.” She steps forward. “I’m Dr. Harris. But please call me India.”
She’s Dr. Harris?
This hitch-your-skirt-up-and-let-me-fuck-you-right-now woman is my new therapist.
Well, that’s just fucking great. It’s not like I can bang my therapist.
I put my cock on hold and give her my best smile, the one that always has panties dropping to the floor, as I say, “And you can call me Leandro.”
