Title: Redemption

Book 3 in The Fixer Series

Author: Alyson Raynes
Genre: Suspenseful Romance/Erotica

Dylan Prescott is a man who knows what he wants and will stop at nothing to keep the woman he loves safe.  Living a privileged life has afforded the Prescott family many luxuries--until one of the family's deepest, darkest secrets is revealed.
Alone and fighting for his life in a Russian hospital, Dylan realizes he is in way over his head.  Unsure of how to sever his ties with those who are most corrupt, he begins plotting a new way to help people and finally become the man he knew he was always destined to be.
Brooke Prescott has been missing for nine months.  Unsure of who--or where-- she is, she must fight to remember and find her way back to those who love her the most.
Will Brooke remember Dylan, or have recent events changed her so much that she will walk away and never look back?  Or can Dylan be strong enough for the both of them?  Can he learn to be the driving force to their redemption?
"They say if you get a second chance in life, you should take it.  Sometimes that is easier said than done, especially when you’re the one that's caused all the pain."

3.5 Star Review by Jen Skewes

After the cliffhanger that we were left with in Promiscous I could not wait for redemption. I needed to know that Brooke and Dylan would be OK.  That their love was strong enough to survive everything they they had experienced at the end of the book

Redemption takes place exactly where we left off.  Brooke has been rescued and her and Dylan are both recovering in the hospital.  While they may both be ok physically it's their mental stability that is cause for concern.  Dylan has to come to terms with the fact that his father was involved in Brooke's kidnapping as well as some horrific stuff over the years.  He is no where near the mans that  he thought he was all of these years

Brooke lost months of her life when she was kidnapped.  Not only did she not remember who she was but she was also tortured and forced to do things she did not want to do.  While she gets her memory back and remembers Dylan and her family she still has to live with what happened to her.  She still has memories of the horrific events that took place while she was being held captive.  But she also needs to find closure where her father is concerned.  Her father was a horrible man who did things to his own daughter which is down right disgusting and horrific.  She still needs to come to terms with it, find closure and be able to move on.

Dylan and Brooke need to find away to escape he pain, hurt and fear that they both experiences this past year and be able to move on

Will the demons from her past coupled with the pain that she suffered while being kidnapped come between her and the man that she loves?

I really enjoyed this book and honestly love Dylan. He loves Brooke with everything he has.  And even when his best friend second guesses what they have he sticks up for her. He isn't about to give up on them. I think for me personally that things moved a little to quick for considering all that Brooke had been through.  And I feel that some issues could have been dealt with a little better and with more discussion between them.  But overall I really enjoyed this book. I wanted to see them get their happily ever after.  I wanted them to stop hurting and be able to move on.  I loved Tristan and find his character to be very intriguing.  I am looking forward to his book

Overall this really enjoyed this series and the characters.  This series  was filled with some shocking twists along the way.  It had drama, suspense, touched on some deep and dark issues.  This series is definitely worth the read.

Tears streamed down my face as I remembered the first time I met him.  He was so young, beautiful and full of life, not like the man I had seen suffering in pain, just days ago.  My heart burned to see him, my fingers ached to touch him, just like when we shared our first kiss.  A kiss that I would never forget for as long as I lived.  It was forbidden, both of us promised to another, but the attraction was so strong, neither one of us could fight it.  I could still feel it, no matter how far apart we were.  He was my soulmate
