The Hipster Chronicles was such a light and refreshing read. It was fun, sexy and different. It tells the story of four unlikely couples living in Williamsburg, NY, also known as the hipster community. There is a tattoo artist, a musician, a barista and a baker. Throw in a shy girl, a recently divorced girl originally from out of state, a sexy southerner, and a guy just recently dumped by his finance and you have a great mix of people. I loved the relationships they formed, and the unique way that it was written.

I don’t really want to give too much away about the couples and who is with whom. It’s more enjoyable if you read it without knowing any of that info. I will say again, that I loved this book. As mentioned it is about four unlikely couples. The way Ms. Andrews wrote this story is what I really loved about it. There are four parts to this book, with each part being about a different couple. We see how they met, learn what their backstory is and see their relationship begin. As you read their stories you begin to see how all four of these couples are some how intertwined in each other’s lives. Each character has a story to tell and I loved seeing how they each came together.

As with all of Faith’s books once you start reading you do not want to stop and that is exactly how I felt with this book. The characters were amazing, and each of the couples fit so perfectly. It was sweet, fun, sexy and I loved it all. I wish I could pick a favorite character, but I loved each and every one of them, all though Jasper and Milo may be my two favorite hipsters of the bunch.

This truly is a great read. Never once did this story feel like it was confusing or all over the place. Ms. Andrews managed to write their story in a way that it flowed perfectly. The words written were flawless. And in the end she gave us an epilogue that was fantastic as all four couples come together for a party and reveal their own truths to each other. In the end the whole story came together as one. My only issue, well more of a request is that I want so much more of these characters and I hope that we see more in the future.
