Book Blurb:
They call him the second coming.
Of honor for British football.
Of God in an athlete’s body.
Of every English woman’s fantasy.
Jude Davies is my country’s prodigy on the pitch. More famous than the nobility in Buckingham Palace, he and his merry band of scoundrels rule the Rogue Football Academy and the London nightlife scene alike.

And now, he’s aiming his well-honed set of skills directly at me. His devilish charm is lethal, but with the tragic hand life has dealt me, distractions like him aren’t an option.

Plus, we’re only playing a game. One of convenience, where he needs me to save his reputation, and I need his money to save the one person I love.

Until he wraps me around that immoral finger.
Until I crave that reckless, wild high he provides.
Until I hope for a future that will never happen.

That’s the thing about going toe-to-toe with the next football legend. He’s faster, stronger, and will destroy me every time.

Review by Lisa Kane

That Jude Davis,  the second coming of God when it pertains to English football, is so unbelievably talented, not even Mother Nature and her merry band of hurricane winds and rain can stop him.

Jude Davis may be the best player for the Rogue Football Club but he can't help messing up by living up to his bad boy image. But he messes up one too many times and finds himself getting sent back to the Rogue Football Academy.

Aria Lloyd's life revolved around work. When she isn't sewing uniforms for the Rogue team, she's cleaning out the locker rooms. She's barely keeping her head above water plus she's responsible for her dad's care. His chemo treatments are tiring him out and even if the costs of the treatments are covered, all the other expenses aren't. So she needs the money.

A chance meeting between Jude and Aria puts her in his path. Jude wants what he sees but Aria can't afford to get distracted. Jude doesn't back away from a challenge, he wants Aria but he has no idea of everything on Aria's shoulders.

Jude needs to go to London-the place of all his temptations. He has to tow the line and who better to rein him in but Aria?

Once she relents and falls into my bed-because let's face it, that's how this is going to end-I'll be instantly bored and abandon ever seeking her out again.

I love when two people come from such different places in their lives-one is always fun and games and one is serious and dedicated. Jude has been blessed with a super talent that will always come through, and Aria has a gift that she's been forced to hide in order to make a living and just survive.

Aria has no reason to believe that Jude could ever be serious about someone like her-especially with all the baggage she has in her life. Jude just may surprise her yet.

"I'm a grown-up, and since the day I met you, I've slowly realized that I need to start acting like one."

Well score one for Jude, maybe this man child is ready to grow up!

"Loving you is as natural to me as breathing, and I'm not fighting it anymore."
