Usually, I don’t have much self-control. So, the fact that Frankie Grant is a hot, talented tattoo artist means it’s a damn miracle she hasn’t already been in my bed. But nothing can happen between us because Frankie comes with Jolie, her young daughter, and a crap load of baggage from her ex. And those are two things I never entertain.
Anyone who knows me—the screwed up foster kid from the wrong side of the tracks—knows I’m not the guy you take home to meet your parents, let alone your kid. But I also know what it’s like not to have parents, so things get complicated when Jolie asks me to be her daddy.
I might as well just slash my own tires now.

This is the last book in the 
series and the one that I have been waiting for. We have seen the sexual tension between Jax and Frankie build up. While they appeared to be enemies, we knew that there was so much more between them. You know the saying "save the best for last"? Well Piper Rayne, definitely did that with this book. Maybe for me, it's the best because Jax has been my favorite, with Dylan a very close second. Ot it's the fact that Jax and Frankie were so good together, the enemies to friends to lovers, with an adorable little girl who not only melted Jax's heart but mine, just got me.
Frankie is a single mom with an abusive ex. Jax has his own past that still haunts him in ways, specifically when it comes to relationships He simply does not do them. Since Jax came back to Crown Heights and started working at Dylan's shop these two have butt heads. they appear to hate each other, but when you dig a little deeper I think you will find that their "dislike" for each other is quite the opposite. Frankie's little girl Jolie has taken a liking to Jax and vice versa. That little girl has him wrapped round her finger. And seeing Jax with her, just melts Frankie's heart. When Frankie's situation with her ex gets a little hairy, Jax offers her a hand and a friendship. They are both going through something right now and could use a friend. But with the sexual tension between them as thick as it is, I am not sure a friendship is the only thing between them. When they start to catch feelings will it end their friendship before it even began?
Jax is sexy but so sweet and caring and kind. He may bust Frankie's chops, every chance he gets but to him it is all in good fun. When it comes down to it, this guy has a heart. You see that when he is with Jolie, and how he is there for Frankie.
Frankie is a tough chick who has been through a lot. But her daughter is everything to her and will do whatever it takes to protect her. even if that means accepting Jax's help. Her and Jax have this amazing connection and undeniable chemistry. The three of them truly make the perfect little family. I loved the banter between the two of them. I loved watching them fall in love and how much Jax would do to protect and care for Frankie and Jolie.
I loved this series and am so sad to see it end and have to say goodbye to these characters. They are an amazing group of friends who have each other's back. They are that tight knit group of friends that anyone would want to have. Reading this series made me feel like I was a part of their little circle. Piper Rayne knows how to suck you into their world and make you feel like you are a part of them all. As always the banter and witt will make you laugh, the friendships will melt your heart and the writing is flawless. They know how to capture your hearts from start to finish. And A Co-worker's Crush was no different. Perfect end to an amazing series!
