Release Blitz: Operation Bailey Birthday

Release Date: November 17

LAKE STARLIGHT BUZZ WHEEL
PRESS RELEASE:

Rumor around town is a certain matriarch of the Bailey family is having a BIG BIRTHDAY!

It’s even spurred a few of the Bailey kids to return home to celebrate with their beloved great-grandmother, Dori.

In fact, now that there are twenty-six Bailey great-grandchildren the event is going to be overflowing with laughter and love.

Also… I heard that Piper & Rayne been speaking to some of the kids (i.e. Calista, Maverick, Easton, Brinley and Palmer) and so we’re getting some special POV’s I can’t wait to report my findings the day after the party!

Review by Jen Skewes

This was the perfect ending to the Bailey series.  I have read every book in the series and fell in love with every member of the Bailey family.  If you loved them and will miss them as much as I will this is the perfect read to give just what you need.

Operation Bailey Birthday is the coming together of every member of the family, including all the kids, for Grandma Dori's 90th Birthday.  And while her grandchildren are planning a "surprise" party, Dori is still up to her shenanigans.  We are talking about Grandma Dori, so is this really a surprise or is she planning it from behind the scenes.

What I loved about this novella is that we not only get to see all of the Bailey siblings but it is their children who tell this story.  I loved catching up with all of them, seeing how close the cousins are and what they are all going through.

This series is one that you will always remember, and feel like you are a part of their family./. Going through all of the ups and down with them.  I hope that we see more of them in the spin off series.  Which this novella seems to be setting up the first book very nicely.  There is so much more that I want to know about the kids.  Great ending to the Bailey series.

Release Date: November 12

New York real estate developer, Summer Sloane, was just handed a career-changing assignment… persuade three small business owners in the middle of nowhere to sell their properties to make way for a condo complex. Salivating at a juicy promotion, corner office, and impressing her hard-to-please father, she travels to wintry Arid Falls to dazzle the locals and get their signatures on the dotted line.

Little did she know she was stepping into a living, breathing Christmas town crammed with excessively cheerful, fruitcake-loving, over hair-gelled locals who are a few logs short of an open fire—a place even Hallmark would envy.

Her confidence is shaken when she meets charismatic lumberjerk, Nick Snow—the owner of a bait and tackle shop, guardian of a feisty eight-year-old, and her biggest obstacle.

With advice from her chiropractor-addicted best friend, Val… Summer ignores her growing affection for the town brimming with Christmas crackpots—and her undeniable attraction to the handsome, kind-hearted Lumberjerk… who sends naughty tingles in all the wrong places.

Can Summer get her signatures and return home with her heart intact, or will the eccentric Christmas town and the man who gets her blood boiling and pulse racing change her mind?

~A little sweet, a little heat, a little offbeat~

Lace-up your snow boots… this is not a clean romance.

Review by Jen Skewes

If you are looking for a fun, witty, sexy story that takes place in a small quirky town, during Christmas season, then look no more.  Snowman is the book for you.  I loved everything about this book. It had that Hallmark Christmas movie feel to it but much sexier.  And I love Hallmark movies!!

Summer Sloane is hoping for the promotion that she deserves, the one that come with the corner office with the beautiful view.  When her boss assigns her to travel to the small town of Arid Falls to try to convince three residents to sell their homes, she knows the this segment means everything to her.  It is a complete game changer and a challenge that she intends to win.  Until she gets there sand not only meets the quirky residents, but the man that is considered the ring leader and who will be the hardest to convince.  But that is not the only issue, Nick Snow is hot!! And can be a bit of a jerk when she first meets him.  But convincing him to sell his house is going to be a bigger challenge than she thought.  Living in a big city like New York, this small little town is a complete culture shock for her.  They are just too cheesy and weird for her liking.  But as time goes on why does she feel closer to this people?  And why not she not shake her attraction to Nick.  Getting involved sexually with the man she needs to convince to sell his home, is high on the list of "things not to do while in Arid Falls".  But when she is near him, she has a hard time controlling how her body reacts to him.

Nick Snow is the perfect guy.  He is loved by all in the town and he takes care of his niece, who lost her parents two years ago.  His reasons for wanting to stay, that have so much to do with his niece will melt your heart.  He feels something between him and Summer as well, but he doesn't know the real reason that she is in town.  When he finds out it may just change his opinion or her.  Or will it?

Snowman is a warm, fuzzy, sexy read that I loved.  The cheesy and quirky town was so much fun.  You could feel the chemistry between Summer and Nick and the fun, flirty banter between the two of them was just perfect.  The addition of Nick's niece Noelle made this even better.  She was a sassy little girl which I loved, but the way Summer was with her made you think that maybe this little town ad Nick  was everything that she needed.

I have always loved AC Netzel's writing and this book was wonderful surprise.  In the sense that her releasing a new book was the surprise.  It made me smile and laugh and just a feel good book!!! I hope we get to see more of these characters, like Val and Jeb???

Release Blitz: Date Me Like You Mean It by RS Grey

R.S. Grey’s next standalone romcom, Date Me Like You Mean It, is out now! Check it out and be sure to grab your copy today!

Title: Date Me Like You Mean It

Author: R.S. Grey

Genre: Rom-Com

About Dare Me Like You Mean It:

I’m good at hiding my feelings. Having to pretend I’m not in love with my best friend? Pfft. That’s child’s play. Here’s how I do it: I avert my eyes when he walks out of his room, shirtless in all his toned glory. I squash the butterflies that fill my stomach every time he slowly unfurls a dimpled smile. And, most importantly, I keep an arsenal of “personal massagers” in my bedside drawer. Wink. Not to brag, but Aiden Smith isn’t hard to resist if you’ve been doing it for as long as I have. In fact, we might have continued as best friends forever if not for the fact that I needed him to play the part of my fake boyfriend. Date me like you mean it, I told him. Nudge nudge. C’mon, just go along with a little lie, help a girl out, and then we can all return to life as we know it. Except he veered from the plan. He crossed the line. Flirting with me when no one else was around? Pinning me down and kissing me like that? Okay, how exactly is taking off my bra part of the ruse, Aiden?! I’d ask him about it if I could, but well…things got ugly and we’re not best friends anymore. In fact, we’re the exact opposite. Now, I have to play nice even though I want to crush his heart in the palm of my hand. Pretending not to love Aiden was the easy part. Pretending not to hate him? Well…I might need a little more practice.

Review by Lisa Kane

Maddie is a little eccentric. Her quirkiness makes her that much more unique and her sense of humor at the world around her (especially her family) keeps her grounded. While serving as the maid of honor at her sister's wedding, she meets Aiden, the groom's brother. He rushes in late to the rehearsal dinner, having flown in from an assignment he was covering as a journalist. Maddie is more than a little interested in him, but as her luck would have it, she brought her date with her. That doesn't stop a little flirting on her side at the wedding, but she thinks he is hooking up with someone he met that night. But before she leaves he finds out that she is thinking of moving to where he lives and he offers her a place to stay in case she needs it.

Jump ahead a little and Maddie takes Aiden up on his offer. Jump ahead even further and it's a couple of years later and they are great roommates. Maddie cooks, Aiden cleans up, Maddie takes care of things while Aiden flies all over for his job. Taking care of things seems to include mending all the broken hearts Aiden leaves behind. What is fun to him, is a relationship to his many admirers. Maddie has a tough time not feeling sorry for them. That is while she isn't jealous of them. Truth be told, Maddie has been hung up on Aiden since the day she met him. Only he seems to have friend zoned her.

But a new boss at work and a twist of fate end up with a little white lie falling out of Maddie's mouth. Unbeknownst to Aiden, it seems Maddie has told her boss and her boss' friends that she and Aiden are dating and have been for a while. Guess she forgot to let Aiden know. She has to entice him quite a bit to go along with the sham, and spend time with her for a bachelorette weekend. The deeper they get into the pretend boyfriend thing, the more pent up feelings begin to surface. But it will not be smooth sailing for these two.

Date Me Like You Mean It has a secondary characters that are as likable as they are eclectic. They have background stories that I wanted to read about and they rounded out the plot. Most of the chapters are told from Maddie's point of view but Aiden's are strong and emotion packed.

With just the right amount of sass and humor and heartbreak Date Me Like You Mean It is another book that RS Grey knocks out of the ball park!
