Synopsis 

Rachel Langley is more than familiar with those three words in her line of work. After all, she spends her afternoons and evenings creating desserts so divine that your mouth will water and your taste buds will tingle.

They aren’t, however, the words she would have ever expected to think of when she locks eyes with a certain lawyer she knows only as Cole.

With each encounter, the infuriatingly persistent man becomes more impossible to resist, and edible is the exact word that comes to mind.

Cole Madison knows exactly what he wants, and Rachel Langley is it. From the moment he spotted her at Whipped, he knew he wanted to grab hold and take a bite.

However, the woman has enigmatic moves, avoiding him at every turn.

But not for much longer.

Rachel’s time is up, and as far as Cole is concerned, he’s waited too long for a taste of what he desires. Nothing, including the woman herself, will stop him from consuming what he hungers for.

“I’m glad. Because the girl who used to dance in the kitchen with her dad, the little sister who cried because of silly girls at school, and the teenage girl with the crush...that girl? My girl belongs in this room with these people.”

Rachel Langley is Mason’s younger sister. She is beautiful, smart, and has her own unique style.  She is also part of the success at the restaurant Exquisite, for her mouthwatering desserts she spends her afternoons creating.

She also carries a secret and the only person who knew her secret took it to the grave. When she met they mysterious lawyer she only knows as Cole, her body comes alive. Every encounter she has had with him has been interesting and gets harder and harder for her to resist him. The one thing she does know about Cole is her is persistent and everything she has been avoiding but really wants. 

“I can’t touch you, Rachel, and god, I want to. I want to undo these sexy leather pants and slide my hand inside. Or maybe, I could lick the skin that’s peeking out between the laces, but I can’t. You said no.”

Cole Madison is a man who knows what he wants and will do everything he can to get it. What he wants is Rachel and he has since the moment he saw her at Whipped. He wants to devour her, every delectable piece of her. What he wasn’t expecting was ability to avoid him at every turn. He plans on putting a stop to that immediately.  When an opportunity opens, he jumps on it and presents her with an offer she can’t refuse.

 “Is that what you want? To control me?”

When they get together they both learn that there is more to each other than meets the eye. Together they are impossible to resist and deliciously Edible.....

“Thank you,” he told her as he squeezed her neck gently.

“For?”

“Being exactly who you are. For being impulsive, strong, and mine.”

Rachel is a strong minded, determined woman who is lost and deeply scared from her past. She is struggling to find happiness again and it doesn’t help that her brother Mason, his best friend Josh and their loves hover. It is endearing that they care but she needs her space to figure things out.

Cole has his own battles. Being a lawyer he needs to look like one on the outside but what lies beneath is a whole different person. There are certain things in his life he has no control over so on his off time, that what he needs, is control.

When Rachel and Cole get together, their arrangement becomes all consuming. The hunger they have for each other is not one they can easily satiate.

Ella Frank has created a divine story that is absolutely exquisite. The sex scene would catch any kitchen on fire. Cole and Rachel are perfect for each other. Her epilogue was FANTASTIC! We were introduced to a new character, Logan and I cannot wait to read his story!

Edible will definitely satisfy your sweet tooth and then some.

Our delightfully entertaining interview with Rachel and Cole

"We are here ladies! Precious Petals, isn't it cute?" Kristie asks really excited. "It is definitely cute and different. I don't think we have ever conducted an interview in a flower shop before, but I know the significance of this place." Lisa says looking around. Jen nods in agreement and says "It should be fun. Rachel and Cole seem like a really fun couple." As we walk to the back of the store we approach the door. Kristie knocks. Within a minute Rachel appears at the door and open's it. "Hey There, you must be Kristie from Three Chicks." Kristie nods, "Yes and you must be Rachel. This is Lisa and Jen. Thank you so much for meeting with us today. We are really excited." We follow Rachel into the shop as she gives us a tour. When the tour is over we all get settled and before the interview starts Rachel, who is holding Cole’s hand, smiles and leans forward.

Rachel: Thanks for coming here to meet us ladies, let me apologize in advance for his mouth.

Cole: I am quite capable of controlling my mouth.

Rachel:  (turns to Cole) If they ask you a question even remotely revolving around something that gets you worked up the f bombs fly, you have a filthy mouth Cole.(Turns back to the women) So once again, just ignore his mouth.

Cole: Rachel…(cautions)

Rachel: You know I’m right. Okay let’s start!

Three Chicks: Rachel, Aside from your late father, why didn’t you ever go talk to someone about what Ben did to you?

The best answer for that I suppose would be I wasn’t ready. You may think that seems like an odd response but it’s the truth. I didn’t know how to tell Mason. He’s so protective of me that I didn’t know what to say, and the thought of sitting down with a stranger and telling them my life story never really felt…right. Maybe I was just waiting for the right moment and the right person, because when Cole showed up it seemed easy. 

Three Chicks: Cole, What was it about Rachel that drew you to her?

Cole:Her short black leather skirt. 
Rachel: (laughs) I don’t think that’s what they mean.

Cole:What that seems shallow? F**k I’m only human. 

Rachel: That’s one.

Cole:Okay, okay. If we’re talking beyond appearances, her attitude. She was such a contradiction. One minute she seemed nervous, the next she was all confidence. I needed to know more.

Three Chicks: Rachel, When did you realize that Cole was different from Ben? 
Rachel:  (looks over at the man sitting beside her with a soft smile The minute he kept his promise not to touch me. He was adamant that he wouldn’t do anything I didn’t want. That was when I knew he was different. Especially when it was more than obvious (laughs and pokes her tongue out at Cole) that he wanted to touch me.

Cole: Tease

Three Chicks: Cole, Why do you need to be in control but more so, why did you need control over Rachel? 

Cole: Because it feels f**king amazing.

Rachel: (Shakes head and silently holds up two fingers)
Cole: Isn’t that a good enough reason? There’s no deep-seated reason for it. I wasn’t hurt when I was younger or anything like that. I just like to be in control of situations.

 Rachel: He’s bossy and arrogant by nature.

Cole: Rachel…

Rachel: What? It’s the truth. They all know it.

(Cole turns and raises a brow at Rachel before turning back) I especially like control over Rachel because when she finally gives in it’s the sexiest f**king thing I’ve ever seen. 

Three Chicks: Rachel, Why did you pull away from the people that loved you?

Rachel:  I needed space. It’s that simple. I wasn’t gone for long. I just needed to get away from coupleville. As much as I love each and every one of them I was starting to feel as though I was falling into a pattern of being the fifth person to tag along. I needed to be me for a little bit and when this guy (she hooks a thumb in Cole’s direction) came along it seemed the perfect time.

Three Chicks: Cole, At first Rachel seemed to be a conquest for you, when did you know you wanted more with her?

Cole: (Lets go of Rachel’s hand to stroke his palm down her leather-clad leg) The first time we talked and she flat out refused me I was determined to track her down and then I saw her at the Halloween party Joshua invited me to and it was then I knew I was going to have her.

Rachel: Oh really?

Cole: You already know this. Remember you ran away?

Rachel: I did not run. I walked.

Cole: Very quickly if I recall. (Turns back to the three girls opposite them) But anyway I digress. When I ran into her at the train station I knew that was my opportunity and the night in her flower shop was the moment I really knew I wanted more than one night with her.

Rachel: It was? You just left that night.

Cole: Well if I only wanted one night I would have taken you up against the wall.

Rachel: Cole!

Cole: What? It’s true.

Rachel: I’m so sorry. (Rachel laughs looking at the ladies)

Three Chicks: Rachel, At what moment did you know/realize that you loved Cole?

Rachel: The night in the pool, when we talked.

Cole: Really? You never said.

Rachel: (Places hand on his on her leg) Well I was scared. It was so quick. (Looking back to the women) Falling for him was like bungee jumping off a bridge. I walked to the edge and jumped and it was over and done with before I knew it.

Three Chicks: Cole, At what moment did you know/realized that you loved Rachel?

Cole: If I have to pin point the moment exactly, when we went to visit my mother. It had been a quick build, I knew I wanted her with me and I was just trying to work out when and how to tell her since it was only a few days in. But the minute she sat down beside my mom, it was all over. I couldn’t NOT tell her.

Rachel: I love you Mr. Madison.

Cole: As I do you.

Three Chicks: Rachel, Do you still do the family dinner on Monday nights?

Yes! It’s insane now (laughs) Lot’s of family members. We never miss it. Sometimes Shelly and Josh are in Georgia, but whenever they are in Chicago they are there and it is a riot as usual.

Three Chicks:Cole, Does Logan get along well with Rachel? How has he handled the news about your marriage?

Oh God Logan, he’ll be so impressed he was asked about in this interview (shakes head). Yes he gets along very well with Rachel. He gets along better with her than me most days. He never had an issue with our marriage. He just likes to throw it in my face at every opportunity he gets. He’s a pain in the ass, but he’s family so I can’t get rid of him.

Three Chicks: The following questions are for you both:

Aside from the mouthwatering caramel sauce, what is your favorite food to umm, umm eat/lick of each other? (All three chicks blush)

Cole: I think they’re blushing.

Rachel: I think so too.

Cole: I have some caramels? Would you like one? (He lifts his hips reaching into his pants pockets)

Rachel: (laughs a little) Take them off him, if he starts eating them I probably won’t be able to answer any more questions.

Cole: Okay so your question. Rachel uses so many sweet things when she cooks. F**k remember the powdered sugar? That shit gets everywhere.
 *All three chicks eyes pop open*

Rachel: Well I told you to leave me alone when I was adding it to the pastries.

Cole: Yes but it looked so much better all over you breas… *Kristie's mouth drops open, Jen slowly reaches over to close it, while Lisa smirks at Cole and Rachel*

Rachel: Okaaay, that’s enough.

Three Chicks: You are both pierced (Jen and Lisa giggle) We hear it is a pretty amazing feeling for the woman when the man is pierced (Kristie is doing her best to keep her composure) Cole does it improve the feeling for you as well and does a woman being pierced make a difference on your end of things?

Rachel:  (turns to Cole) I think this was mainly directed at you. Go ahead. (Turning back to the women who are blushing yet again) Remember, you asked.

Cole: Having my piercing, and let’s be totally clear we aren’t referring to my nipples, makes it pleasurable for me because Rachel gets so turned on that when she comes she pretty much squeezes my c**k like a tight vice and f**k, what guy wouldn’t want that? As for Rachel’s nice little surprise, they are definitely designed for the woman’s pleasure, but what do I get from it? I get to touch, lick and play with it. So yeah, that is f**cking pleasurable for me too. (Cole shifts in his seat and turns to Rachel) God now I can’t stop thinking about it.

Rachel: Stop it. These ladies are waiting.

Cole: Well it’s their fault. (Turns to the ladies) Thanks for that.

Three Chicks: People had a difficult time with you two getting married so quickly. Do you think your relationship is stronger than most because of the route you both took?

Cole: And just like that I am no longer turned on. I don’t see what the big deal was. I mean Mason went ape-shit, which I get he’s her brother and was worried. We all joke about it now, but at the time he was less than thrilled, but come on are either of us really conventional?

Rachel: (Laughs) I knew Mase would go insane. He just didn’t get it, but in the end when he calmed down and saw us together he understood. Cole and I are just different. I’m impulsive and he’s a bulldozer, to me it seemed completely natural and normal and I really believe it has made our relationship that much stronger. 

Three Chicks: One word you would use to describe each other?

(Both answer at the same time)

Cole: Mine

Rachel: Mine 

Three Chicks: Okay last question for you both, Where do you see yourselves in a couple of years?

Cole: Here in Chicago, married, possibly children.

Rachel: Living here in Chicago, blissfully happy and married and surrounded by friends and family.

"Thank you so much for being such good sports, especially with some of our more umm, intimate questions." Kristie says while giving Rachel a hug goodbye. "I don't think I will ever look a caramel the same again." Jen says after hugging Cole goodbye. We all look at each other and laughing ensues. Lisa after hugging both Cole and Rachel goodbye says "Thank you for meeting with us today and inviting us into Precious Petals." Kristie turns around suddenly shouts "OMG and Congratulations on your marriage." We all say our goodbyes again. As we walk to our car Lisa asks "How many kids do you think they will have?" Jen excitedly says "three at the most, what do you think Kris?" As Kristie unlocks the car she says "Hmmmm, I think two max but I guess time will tell."  We all pile into the car and head on home.
