Review: Incomplete by Lindy Zart

There are three absolute truths in Grayson Lee’s life:

1. His existence was a mistake.

2. No one is good enough for his best friend, Lily Jacobs, especially not him.

3. He loves her anyway.

3.5 Star Review by Allison East

Grayson and Lily had been best friends for a long time. Grayson  fell in love with her very hard and fast. He's a very intense guy- but he won't act on his love for Lily. He thinks he is not good enough for her because of his family and the fact he thinks that he is a mistake. But he also doesn't want anyone else to be with her, especially Garrett .

"With her, I am whole. With her, I am not a mistake; I am not unloved and unwanted. I am not me."
Grayson is a senior and Lily is a junior. So he will be going to California after graduation. He has a real talent for music and was going to go to college to learn more about the workings of the music industry. He doesn't want to ruin their friendship with a relationship. Except Lily has other plans in mind.
Lily- I love her character. She's shy, and down to earth,  and most of all- a great friend. She thinks that  love means letting go, even if it hurts.
"I'm sure, Grayson. I'm sexually frustrated. Do you know how long I've been fantasizing about you? Do you have any idea how bad I've wanted us to kiss? For months and months and months. I love you."
Grayson is convinced he can make it work if he stays in their hometown, Lily knows for his own good she needs to end things and let him live his dream.
It would have been nice to hear Lily's point of view, as the book was written completely in Grayson's.
By the same token I love a good male's POV. Maybe the next book will be written from her perspective (hint: Lindy- talking to you!)
It is kind of a cliffhanger, so we have to wait and see if Grayson and Lily get their happily ever after.
