Seriously….You might want to get your tissues ready for this one! I’m still on a book hangover. This is truly one read that will forever be in my head.

“The term ‘away’ comes in many forms and phrases. Get away, stay away, far away, go away, went away and move away but the term that best fits my situation...run away.”

Cassandra needed to get away…away from it all. Her life was perfectly planned out for her and she didn’t teeter away from what her parents wanted until one night changed it all for her. With trying to figure out the decision she will make she needs the help of her BFF. Little did she know that sometimes the GPS is wrong and will steer you in a different direction…the direction your heart should go.

Jason just happened to be in the right place at the right time when Cassandra’s tire blew and she hit a tree. Now we all know how handsome those cowboys can be, but the way B. A. Wolfe describes Jase….YUMMY! Jason has lived his life in the moment. From an early age he has realized that life can be taken away in an instant. When he finds Cassie, he takes life by the horns.

“If you wait for the right time for anything, it will always be too late,” he said quietly as he motioned with his head for me to walk back to him. “Come here.”

Cassie moves in with Jase and his family, after spending a night in a motel with a rat, while she waits for her car to be repaired. You can tell the sexual attraction that they both feel for each other and the build is a slow one.

“ Okay. There's the look. Sweetheart, every guy wants it, but knowing when it's right is what makes the moment of making love so special. It has to be something that you give, not something that I take."

You get to know Cassie and why she never understood the love of a family. With Jase…SIGH…you finally piece together why his is always for the moment…it’s a heartbreaker, I tell ya!

They both have secrets that they are keeping from each other, but when the secrets are revealed…Jase will absolutely blow you away. He is such a strong man to take on her and to deal with what he is dealing with.

"People become too reliant on having the world at their fingertips. Enjoying the moment and not knowing what's going to come next, that's the real deal, Cassie."

Even the secondary characters in this story were awesome. Mel, Moose, and Jason’s parents add their own sweet touch to the story. They show her what a really family is like and give her all the love she ever wanted. Now, when you meet Cassie’s parents, a part of you will want to throw the e-reader. Wow, is all I can say.

I’ll admit, I was a little upset with the way the story twisted but it felt so real…every emotion these characters are having…you will have them too. I love a story that just sucks you in from the very moment and this one is just that. Jason is EVERYTHING!!!! That man will have your stomach full of butterflies and out searching for your very own cowboy.

“My heart was racing but for other reasons than the horn honking. I hesitated for only a second before I placed my hand in his.  I don’t know if it was him, or just the way he asked, but saying no wasn’t an option. He helped me out and walked us into the middle of the intersection.”

So until we hopefully get a chance to know the rest of Cassie’s journey… go dance in the middle of the street and always look for your green light….I know I will never look at a traffic light the same after this read!!!
