Justice Drake is a teacher. He teaches wealthy women how to regain their husband's attention. They attend his 6 week course to learn why their husbands are cheating and how to get them back. He teaches them how to get in touch with their sensual natures, their provocative selves and how to entice, seduce and screw their brains out. All the while at the expense of their husbands.

Justice Drake is what he has invented himself to be. He knows women; what they need, what they lack, who they are. He has wealth while enjoying anonymity and privacy. He doesn't do relationships; he has hook ups, takes care of his sexual needs and lives a life of luxury. All the while keeping the truth a secret. He mentally keeps the women in his classes at a safe distance. He feels empathy and sorrow for most of them. He knows more about them and their cheating husbands than they know. He has them completely investigated before they start his classes and has them all sign non-disclosure forms.

I know what I do to these women. I know what they see, what they feel from me. They're used to powerful men-they're attracted to them-and that fact alone draws them to me. Add in the denim-blue eyes and 6 foot 2 inch dominating physique, and I'm reduced to high-priced man candy for the next six weeks. 
In the past he has had no problem keeping himself distanced from the women in his classes, but something about Allison Carr pulls him in and negates his safe zones. He knows what a cheating louse her husband Evan Carr is, and he tells himself over and over this woman is a student of his and off limits. But she challenges him and gives as good as she gets. He pushes her buttons and she pushes back. He knows her husband is publicly running around all the while that Ally is trying to learn how to get his attention back.

Justice is spending lots of time with the women that work for him to teach the women tricks. All in an effort t rid himself of his growing attraction to Allison. His pole dancers, his med student who teaches self pleasure, his own hand. Anything to try to get his mind and his dick off of Ally. None of it is working.

I kiss her despite my fears. I kiss her so she can taste just how much I want her, how much I need her. Although it's more than my heart can stand, I kiss that angel as I feel every vital part of me being crumpled into dust. Every kiss is a goodbye. Especially the ones that kill you.

As the two get friendlier, Justice is getting flack from those around him, especially his publicist, Heidi. One of the conditions of these courses is no outside communication with the world, so the women are pretty much isolated from social media. Evan Carr is embroiled in scandal after scandal, all the while Allison is unaware of what he is doing. But Heidi is starting to connect the dots, and cautioning Justice about things getting out of control. Of course she is right and the more things heat up for Ally and Justice the closer the world is to discovering who he is and what he does for a living, and the secret he has kept all these years.

Ally may be Evan's by law, but she's mine by nature. And in a battle between lions, no one gives a fuck about what's lawful. It's all brute strength, cunning and instinct. Three things I've utilized my entire life to survive.

Justice Drake is an enigma, a puzzle, a contradiction of terms. The book is told in his POV, so the reader is treated to his thoughts and snarky humor, but is never privy to the thoughts of Ally or those he surrounds himself with. Being a fan of the long running TV series, Friends, the multiple references to the storylines was an added bonus. You can't help but fall for this gorgeous Adonis, who falls into the trap of love when he has sworn off of it for years. I would have liked a little more content at the end, it seemed a little rushed to me, but this is a very good read!

Quirky Phoebe is comforting Ross, telling him to hang in there because no matter what, Rachel is his lobster. And once lobsters meet and fall in love, they mate for life. They always find each other. And sooner or later, Rachel and Ross will be together. "See...he's her lobster."
