Searching For Disaster is the final installment in the Search For series.  I love this series and have been a big fan of Ms. Probst’s since reading The Marriage Bargain.  And as always she did not disappoint.

It was six years ago when Izzy hooked up with Liam at a party.  It was just a one night stand but it is a night that she has never forgotten.  Liam is someone that she always thinks about from time to time.  As if he is the one who got away.  But that night was significant in another way.  It was the night that Izzy chose drugs over a guy, which then led her to that dark place.

It is six years later and Izzy has been clean and sober for the last two years.  She has a new job as a receptionist at Kinections and is getting her life back together.  And then he comes back into her life.  William Devine is now a police officer in the same town that she still lives in.  His partner is one her friend’s husbands.  He happens to show up at Kinnections looking to find the woman of his dreams.  But little did he know that when he showed up, the woman who has been on his mind for the past six years, the woman that he never forgot would be sitting behind the reception desk ready to greet him.

Liam never forgot that night or Izzy and he is determined to make her see how great their connection really it.  The one that they had years ago is still very much alive.  But Izzy has a past, one that is filled with too many demons for a wonderful guy like Liam to have to deal with.  She fights him, pushing him away because she doesn’t thnk she deserves him.  But Liam is relentless and will not give up on her.  Will Izzy be able to put the past behind her and realize that she does deserve this amazing man by her side?

I really loved these characters.  Liam is the guy that everyone wants for a boyfriend, he is a little bit sexy , a little bit sweet and just an amazing man.  He cares so much for Izzy and the fact that he new what he wanted and did not give up made me love him more.  Izzy had some issues, which I completely understood.  At times she embraced the connection that they had and at times she tried so hard to run from it.  But I loved her and thought she was perfect for Liam.

I really enjoyed this novella.  I loved seeing all the girls from the series together and the ending was the perfect way to end the series.  As always  the writing is grat and I loved seeing how much Izzy’s decisions in the past affected not just her.  I love her relationship with her sister Gen and it was great to see some of her family members who we first met in The Marriage Bargain.  Another great job by Ms. Probst.
