Move on with your life, they said.

Forget her, they said.

But how could Ben Edwards forget the woman who was supposed to be his forever? When Grace Stevens disappeared—without a word, without a trace—she took half his soul with her.

Despite the heartbreak, Ben tried. He tried to take their advice by pursuing his career. He tried to find fulfillment in his work. He tried to find peace.

Grace had been the love of his life. Her fingerprints were on every surface of his existence. He had success and wealth. He had everything, except her.

Then fate stepped in one serendipitous night. The hope he’d held on to for three long, agonizing years appeared before him in the form of a picturesque beauty.

Was she real, or an apparition returning to haunt him? He wasn’t sure, but he wouldn’t stop until he found his missing love. Every minute mattered, and he wouldn’t waste a second chance.

Review by Jen Skewes

I loved this book.  Missing Grace is one of those books that is filled with so much emotion and hope.  Once I started to read it I did not want to let go.  For me personally it is a story that was so unique and honestly made me think because everything about it just felt so real.

Ben and Grace had sucha beautiful and amazing love.  A love that everyone dreams of having.  They met when they were kids, became best friends and then eventually lovers. Their love for each was so strong and so passionate.  But one day it all vanished.  Grace left for a business trip and never came back.  He has never given up hope that one day they he will find her.  There is no way he can move on with his life if Grace is not in it.

Three years later and Ben has still not found the love of his life, but fate intervenes in a really big way.  The day that Ben has been waiting for is finally here.  But will it be everything that he hoped it would be.  Or will he lose hope all over again?

I don’t want to really say too much about this book.  I wanted to go into detail about the characters and what I loved but I honestly do not want to give anything away.  The best way to read this book is t just go in blind.  It will capture you from the very beginning and tust me you will not want to put this book down.

Missing Grace is a beautiful and powerful story that is filled with so much love and hope.  The love that Ben has for Grace is beyond words.  He is truly a man who loves with his whole heart and in such a passionate way.  He is patient, loving, and kind.  Your heart breaks for this man who has lost so much.  At times I hurt for him but then times when Ms. Scott managed to sew the pieces of my heart back together.

SL Scott writes with so much passion and every part of this story flows perfectly.  It never felt rushed or like it was too over the top.  Everything about this book happened at the perfect pace.  I loved the connections in this story, the love that you felt within the pages.  I am not even sure I can put into words how much I loved this book.  It is beautiful, powerful, passionate love story that will leave you wanting more and thinking about it for days.  and not this is not a cliffhanger but just one of those books where you cannot get enough of these characters.  Wonderful job by SL Scott.
